I have one too!! 6MM creedmoor high wall 28" barrel. I shoot about 3/8" groups with factory Hornady eld-x. The hornady varmint shoot really well too. Those lighter varmint rounds I recorded at just under 3300 FPS. If anyone has production numbers it would be great to know how many of these were made in the 6mm creedmoor. I found mine on the used rack at Scheels in Appleton, WI. I did find that my forearm is touching the barrel ALOT. I started sanding a little but decided I'm goin to glass bed the forearms instead when I glass bed one of my other builds coming up.

Wow glad to know I’m not the only one with one of these! After floating the forearm better it’s definitely doesn’t wander poi. I think hornady regularly makes the varmint express 87 grain. I’m hoping to try some heavier bullets in it soon. Thanks for watching.

I just started using h4350 in my 1-8 tikka 243 just 39 behind a 103 eld but 1/2 inch without a lot of load development .

If you have any ccI 250 magnum primers laying around...load three up with the same charge. A little hotter primer might just eliminate the flyer. It does shoot very well already.

I don’t have any cci 250s but I have 9.5m Remingtons and federal 215s. I may give that a try in the future.

Good shooting ! Was it 100 or 200 yards ? I have same rifle but in .270 with same scope. Do you prefer sandbags over bipod and why? What model bipod is that, was it easy to install? Thanks

The groups were at 100 yards. I like bags or a lead sled for load development but for final sight in like to sight in using bipods and a rear bag because it’s the way I’ll be shooting in the field. I’ve shot very good groups off of bipods as well as bags and a lead sled so it’s personal preference. The bipod is a champion brand 9-13”. It’s very easy to install it attaches to the sling swivel. Thanks for watching.
