Started fishing here regularly in 1989. Moved to Lakeside in 06 and have crossed this bar countless times. You have to pay attention cause it can go from mild to wild in a flash. Some of the best salmon fishing on the Oregon coast, and the US Coast Guard keeping everyone safe!! Lots of great memories here.

Familiar area ...silly me crossed there in a 21 foot North River jet boat. In the fog no radar, just a 1998 Lowrance GPS on board. Back then GPS was circa 50 yards off ... I was lucky. I had to sell my Striper 2301 last year and I sure miss it ! Lord willing I will be back out there some day.
