Winchester needs to make it in 10 gauge. Any thoughts of trying to make the liquid that hardens around the shot?

No idea how to even go about it safely sadly

Hey brother, can you tell me what kind of scale that orange and black scale you use is?

Fuzion from Amazon

I got a few boxes of older Fiocchi Heavy Field loads that are 3in shells rated at 1 3/4th ounces of #5 at 1,300fps. Never felt the need for anything more for turkeys. Those are as stout as i want to go. Edit: Of course just speaking for myself, i wouldn't shoot at a turkey at 60 yards. My self imposed limit is 40 yards.

About to buy my first electronic scale. The one you have seems to be inexpensive and widely available. Are you satisfied with it? Would you recommend it? How frequently do you have to recalibrate?
@theshotgunscientists10 ай бұрын
I’ve never had to do that, my brother uses the same scale and he’s never had a problem either.

Those are going to hurt! We do make some pretty good stuff. Be safe Brother!! Dont be giving away the trade secrets!

We’re used to shooting 3 ounce 10 gauge loads at around 1200 fps lol these are stout but nothing compared to what we shoot often just for fun. I do like how Winchester has pretty innovative loads that other companies don’t offer.

How can I donate some of our ammo to your channel? Not from the company, just my personal stash. Do you ever test rifle or pistol ammo?
@theshotgunscientists10 ай бұрын
@@thomashaley7657 My email is in the about section of our page, that’s really generous of you man thank you. And yeah we do test rifle rounds sometimes but mostly off camera. 6.5 creedmore, 223/556, .22 lr, 300 blackout, 30-06, 308, 270, 7.62x54r, 7.62x39, 35 Remington, and .416 Barrett is what all we have available to us. We also have all standard shotgun gauges along with both 24 and 32 gauges. Pistol calibers we have guns in .40 s&w, 9mm, all 22 rimfire aside from 22 mag, 9mm makarov, 380 and 32 acp.

How about a 2 3/4 or 3 " with an un slitted TPS wad with Orr with out buffer?
@theshotgunscientists10 ай бұрын
We’ve tried that, the shot does not leave the wad and acts like a slug.

I can definitely tell you that any load over 1.5 oz. Is capable of loosening dental work and slapping your jaw and shoulder. Near concussion level of recoil.
@kfranklin30810 ай бұрын
Yeah I don’t understand how these guys shoot these 3.5” 12ga and 10ga loads.
@theshotgunscientists10 ай бұрын
Lean into the gun, don’t death grip it and cram it into your shoulder, pull forward with your off hand, you barely feel the recoil. Let the gun move with you instead of it just slamming into your shoulder. If it was hurting us we would not be doing it for fun.
