Here is the ending for those of you who care: Since Wind lives on a Mobius strip, when the world splits she is on the same piece of paper as her dog so she finds him. Her world isn't the same anymore though because it isn't a loop. not having the loop means she won't ever find Mr.Ug's house (which is actually just Wind upside-down). THE END :)

I want to contribute, this will still perfectly match what would have happened if it were just a simple loop as Wind imagined, if she had just ended up on one side of the loop. She would only have seen the bottom of her own house, and the bottom of Mr. Ug's house (which is actually the top of her house). Her dog would also be upside down and there would be no way to turn him right side up. And, of course, still no Mr. Ug.

Hermes and Mercury are the same in Greek mythology. This is a special loop, where one side is the upwards flipped version of the other, and if you flip your device upside down (or if you have a gaming PC flip the front screen upside down) and put it in front of a mirror, beet Peel becomes Beef Beer.

Wind runs along the half of the strip until she gets to the part where the two loops touch, and she jumps to the other side. She gets her dog, and wonders where mr ug was. Then, she peers over the edge and sees all of the things on her path that she usually had used to get to mr ug s house. She sees all of the familiar things, and realizes the truth. She then makes a rocket ship and flies with her dog to another Möbius strip where another triangle by the name of Mr Ug was also flying off of his Möbius strip with his pet cat. They meet in the middle, and both stop flying towards each other and start flying together. They both fly towards a stray hexaflexagon and land, planning to live there. They live on the hexaflexagon getting resources from the worlds under the three flaps. They also meet square friends with unicorns and jackalopes. They live happily ever after :)

I'm not sure how to feel. I'm sad because Wind was just all alone. Mr.Ug was not real and she was just talking to herself. Just imagine if Wind had decided to open the door at which she would have found out that it was just her house. I'm also so happy that a human being was smart enough to make this video. I'm also sad again because Wind was never able to find Mr.Ug because he was fake. Even though she didn't know that. So she made her self not as lonely by getting a dog, and then that dog was taken away from her. What an interesting story, but at the same time so sad.

As the world was ripping apart, Wind leaped and grabbed her dog, only to pull it off the edge too. They managed to hang on to a door in mid air, it slowed them down. Another door came falling down, with an upside-down triangle and an upside down dog exclaiming "Moot!". Wind yelled "Who are you?", and the other triangle replied "I'm mr. Ug! You must be Wind! We're exact opposites!" They landed on water, near land. They saw a village, with many new friends, and Wind's and Mr. Ug's parents. The end.

But what if u can free the dog from the lonely twisted world..u only need a scissors to do that...cut out the dog and make him your pet...feed him everyday and love him.. THAT'S IT.....and the dog lives on happily ever after. I'm HAPPY

The story she’s telling is a happy one. But in an alternate universe, one where the Möbius strip is a full twist (not a half twist) when you cut down the middle it creates two separate links so that the dog is forever imprisoned on its own separate loop and Wind is alone on her own loop as well. 😳 🔗 I’m not trying to traumatize anyone I was just trying it for myself and I did it wrong the first time and ended up with this result and it was terrifying

When you cut a Möbius strip in half, it becomes a bigger but thinner Möbius strip. When you cut the thinner one in half, it looks like two rings connecting. so, while the little world was splitting apart, Wind realize that she was Mr.Ug, and she felt something brake inside her, 'cause now she knew she was alone this hole time. So she jumped to save her dog, the only thing that was left, crying in fear, but she fell. Just joking, the dog grabbed her hand, revealing that he was Mr.Ug the hole time, a beautiful square. Wind and Ug built a lot of bridges to connect the worlds, fell in love and now they are a happy couple with 2 children, circle and rectangle. That's it.

For those who are worried about how lonely Wind is going to be: The story includes a brief reference to Flatland, which comes from some math book that describes two-dimensional beings who discover the greater, three-dimensional world. Wind originally came from Flatland! She just happened to fall onto her Mobius strip. This means two things: 1. Wind's Mobius strip is somehow connected to Flatland. 2. Travel between two-dimensional worlds is possible. With these in mind, Wind does not have to be trapped at all-- she just has to jump off the Mobius strip at the right time to travel to a new, totally different two-dimensional world!

I'm new to this channel and let me tell you, this is THE BEST thing on KZbin I've seen so far. I like all the subtle mathematical secrets around which you make your videos. The doodling in math class series was the best. Your mathematical knowledge is enormous and unlike other youtubers, you aren't overexcited or retarded over it. Your views on social issues also seem to be really really right. I've noticed that there aren't much recent videos. So, I'd just ask for you to keep uploading for newbies like me.
