Been thinking about switching back to the wind homunculus for advancing to hard in Tart. Working towards a sub minute run on Abysmal Hard would be icing on the cake... oh shit. Love the crit damage build on Veromos! 8-)

A quick improvement to the team you have shown would be making Akhamamir faster than Veromos because he does more damage to the waves increasing the potential of faster runs.

@@SeanBGames No - you still need both of them to do AOE... if you get better artifacts and slightly better runes, then you can easily oneshot the wave - makes it a lot faster and a bit safer. My mamir can oneshot it with 2 fight sets, +1900 atk, 15% dmg on water and total S3 CD of about 280 - those stats are not difficult to get on mamir since you only need 85 CR and he has 30 base. You are wasting a lot of stats by having needlessly high speed and then you are wasting even more by not having anyone move on 6th tick - to fix that give prilea at least +93 speed. Then vero can be dropped all the way to +70 (ideally this unit would be a mamir/teshar that oneshots) Also with a bit better runes you can also swap vero for shamman/lyn - im running that with 43 sec average and 99% success rate (the team you are showcasing is 99.8% for me and can also go this fast but you need insane runes for it - with my runes its 48 average)

First make sure your units reach these speed MINIMUM - if they dont, its really bad. galleon +135, prilea + 93, veromos +66, mamir +40, humo +18 (if it fails this much, you will have to run this turn order) If it still fails with the correct speeds, swap prilea for bernard with turn order bernard +131 > galleon +88 > vero +66 > mamir +40 > humo +18 If that still fails, go farm artifacts till you have at least 15% dmg on water on mamir, humo and vero. Make sure that vero, galleon, prilea/bernard have at least 35 acc, ideally mamir too. Everything needs full skillups to be reliable (the only exception is akhamamir S3 and bernard) here are my stats galleon +136 speed, +15k hp, +500 atk, 52/154 crit, 42 acc prilea +123 speed, +7500k hp, +1100 atk, 74/192 crit, 35 acc mamir+68 speed, +7k hp, +1900 atk, 90/274 crit, 23 acc, 15% dmg on water, + a bunch of CD on S2 hummo +53 speed, +4k hp, +1900 atk, 90/253 crit, 0 acc, 15% damage on water, bunch of CD on artifacts veromos +54 speed, +17k hp, 900 atk, 100/240 crit, 40 acc, 10% dmg on water, 60% CD as less enemy hp, 16 S2 CD. I did 1400 runs with 4 fails total and 46 sec average. you will have to change the turn order to > bernard > galleon > vero > mamir > humo - then vero should always clense the deff break if everything derped and the team will be slower. Any speed above the provided values is effectively wasted, same with acc above 35 so use that to get as much CD as you can on your units.

I had my turn order set up so that prilea moved after veromos as I noticed that she was activating the counter attack while a defence break was up, before veromos could move and cleanse. I want to make wind but I use water homunculus so much, it seems like a pain in the butt to be swapping back and forth. Don't know why we can't make a second homunculus 9 years into the game. You can fuse an infinite number of Rileys or Veros or whatever, but homunculus is just another arbitrary restriction to make the game more work.

replacing harpy will be more better. this team is slow cause of her dmg. replace her with kyle and it would speed up by a lot or wind pirate captain I feel will be better. reliable defense break is good but avg time slows down because lack of dmg. kyle has defense break on s2 and heavy dmg

Harpy has the highest Def break chance average in this dungeon compared to any other unit in the game. Wind pirate will just use s2 all the time with its 2 turn cd

Base stats without CD is 170 CD 30 CD in subs in 5 possible slots is just 6 CD per rune. 85 CR for wind units it's 14.1 CR per rune on average without counting that Akhamamir has CR awakening or without using Blade sets Blade set makes an average of 12.1 CR per rune

Having only 1 source of Def break is not good and can prolong the fight to the point you lose by counterattacks. I suggest adding Roid 2A, Prilea, Water Dhalsim/Poison master. On my alt I use Akha, Wind Demon, Veromos, Galleon, Roid 2A and it rarely loses with barely good sets.

Ready for probability lesson? probability1 * probability2 = probability that both happen probability that it happens + probability that it doesnt happen = 1 (these rules will be enough for most calculations in this game) So prilea skill one - 95% (0.95) chance to apply AND 85% (0.85) to pass the resist check 0.95*0.85 = 0.8075. Then apply the second rule - the probability she will deff break on at least one of the hits is the same as "1 - she will miss the deff break on both hits" - the probability she will miss the deff break on each hit is 1 - 0.8075 = 0.1925. So the probability she will miss the first hit AND the second hit is 0.1925*0.1925 = ~0.037 = 3.7% (or 1 in 27) You can do the same calculation for S2: 1- (1-1*0.85)**2 = 0.0225 = 2.25% (or 1 in 45) - its easier to just write it condensed like this even though its literally impossible to read, the calculation is the same. S3 is guaranteed on the bosses and just 15% ress check on everything else.
