WIND NOISE ON MOTORCYCLE
Wind Noise on Honda Africa Twin is known to many. It's not a major issue to most of us earplugs will do the job as well. Well in my case I wear them but not all the time. For me the biggest problem was that it ruins the audio from my vlogging Camera creating more work while I am putting video together.
I decided to try something that is reducing wind noise quite a bit. In this video I will show you where is the wind coming from it will also depend on Your height. I found on AliExress this wind deflectors and decided to try them, here is the link www.aliexpress.com/item/10050...

Thank you for the detailed instruction, wonderful review. Those drill scratches on left side broke my heart :( it is always safer to make a visible mark and start drilling with smaller diameter. I also have 2018 crf1000l DCT, have big problem with wind noise and buffeting. I am planning to make a different solution which is moving the screen 3, 4 cm forward by spacers and making a new mould of complete windscreen covering that area.

Thank You for the comment, in my opinion if you move 3-4 cm forward the screen that will change the aerodynamics I think the wind will put to much pressure on the screen, but let me know one way or the other. I never had issues with my current screen buffering just the wind noise these little deflectors made quite a difference not 100 % bit way better.

Huge improvement for sure doesn't eliminate the noise complete but it I more than good enough for me, also not costing fortune.

@@AdventureTravelandScuba the adventure sports model has those winglets as standard equipment. I was thinking about getting some of those and putting it on my 2018 base model.

@@michaelskinner896 that's first I heard I was looking before at the Adventure sport but never have seen them, so that's something Honda must be aware of than. Excellent I'll check it out one more time next time when at the dealership, if they still have it in stock just curious.......
