This comment should not be intended to do anyone harm. Being Jewish I can only imagine how I would feel if Hitler's grandchildren came to Brooklyn on a "good will" tour.

One thing that aids this scene is the style of acting. Everyone has an air of believability. Its not cinematic acting no one is trying to give speeches witty remarks or anything to take you out of the scene. And that makes the behaviour seem realistic.

"Interrogating" bit of a euphemism.

Acting is top class. Loach usually doesn't use professional actors.

The comment I made below was not intended to do any person harm. I want the You Tube Moderators to know I never would, never, ever incite violence. My intention was to say the Irish People, whom I admire greatly, should be compensated by the English for 800 years of occupation. I think One billion dollars per year would be fair. So 800 Billion from England is a good start at "good will" from the English Monarchy.

i think Irish people just want to be left alone. Them kicking the shit out of Britain economically is reparations enough.

Well that 700 years was a response to 400 years of rape, murder, banditry and slavery on the part of the Irish against the English, Welsh and Scottish. Did you know that Dublin was the slave capital of Europe?

He didnt talk about the word fuck but in use "shut the fuck up" I mean this is like 20years new to my knowing. Back then just shut up was a curse word so there šwas no need to put extra swear word in it.

Never mind Cillian Murphy’s mid Atlantic accent and the modern farm buildings at the start and jumbo jet, Loach is a lazy director.
