thing is i don't have a folder for any dumps. yet my pc has been crashing the last couple days and i'm not sure why and trying to figure it out.

I know your comment is 11 months old by now, but you get the dump files only when you have a blue screen. Aka blue screen of death (BSOD).

@@maxxxam77 Yes, I have been experiencing random crashes for a while now and have finally decided to find a solution, and as @CaesarSalad978 says, I too do not have any 'Minidump' folder where a dump file would be expected to be created when a BSOD crash occurs.

my pc is a brand new build, recent and NEW parts, always BSOD and i dont know why dont create any minidump files

it doesnt work so well for my case . it doesnt tell me what did the crash and its not a normal crash with it all bying blue its like 4 blue screens up top and on the bottom is like all just random colors

Windbg gives warnings that Kernel symbols havent been configured and you cant run analysis until you do that. So looks like just an install isnt sufficient anymore? An update with the required configuration could be nice if possible

Thanks for this video. I was not able to get DISM to work, but this is my first time getting into the windows system so I will research it more. I didnt see any obvious thing causing my computer lockups and freezes all the time?

It's stupid but this happens to me a lot with other programs as well. When you go to open Windows Debugger just right click instead and open as Administrator. That should work
