There is no Lake called Windermere Lake. It's just Windermere, the same as the town. The "mere" part of the name actually means a large open body of water.....

Thank you for your comment. It made me to research further. You are correct in your context. But on other hand the word ‘Lake’ is used in wikipedia and in other references. 👍
