To "simplify" it even further, the stipulation is 1,000,000 damage in one shot and says nothing about "on one enemy" so as far as I can tell based on when I got it personally you can get it much "faster and easier" by dealing a lot of damage to multiple targets. Tbh this achievement was very easy for me to get. Just turned on commando and glass Got 6 crowbars Went to the bazaar Got 5 shaped glass Supercharged an enemy with 0 armor Got it done by stage 2 in 6 minutes

6:01 Quick correction, for 100% uptime on the Tonic, you only need a combination of fuel cells/gestures that adds up to 4 in total. Obviously one gesture is needed for the automatic activation, but you could have one gesture and three fuel cells, or four gestures, etc.

Small correction for anyone planning on doing this, it is a total of 4 fuel cells and gestures with at least one being a gesture of the drowned (the blue shell lunar) which newer players don't have access to by default. Also the unlock for gestures took me longer than this achievement so don't go out and get them first even if you are struggling to complete this.

You can actually do it with AtG! Since your supercharge has a 3.0 proc coefficient, it gives a much higher chance for an AtG proc, and the more you have, the more damage it deals. The other items help too though

@Metal Sign chance. Buuuuut within all likelihood you're critting with the shot that triggered the AtG, as crits on the triggering attack apply the crit scalar to the triggered item. (It's why some items seem to crit even though they can't, the game points out the collat-crit with the bonus damage making crit noises)

How I did it: looped for ~20 stages, found a crowbar printer and remembered 'Hey, that achievement exists, doesn't it?', printed about 50 crowbars (not exaggerating) then spent the next couple of stages actually trying to avoid having a skill issue enough to hit the weak spot of an enemy with the R ability. I had only one attempt per stage because at that point my run was so busted that after firing a single shot, everything else on the stage from that point onwards would be instakilled by ceremonial daggers and whatnot. Ended up hitting a Solus Control Unit for 3M damage, then died to the Voidling because, after all, I do have skill issue (and the boss is bad IMO)

Artifact of glass and command make this one really easy. The damage bonus of glass artifact is multiplicative with other increases i.e delicate watch, shaped glass, etc. I'm pretty sure you can do it with artifact of glass, 5 shaped glass, some watches and crowbars, and either the crit chance 100% use item or the spinel tonic

I've discovered that railgunner + lots of tougher times + lots of shaped glasses + movement speed = Point and Click Adventure. You just have to dodge most attacks, the ones you get hit by get blocked by tougher times, anything you hit just *dies* so be decent with your aim, and maybe add in a few dio's to be safe if you really want.

I’d hate to be that guy, but bands are incredibly helpful for this achievement, because they multiply the damage that caused the bands to proc. Also stacking crit shades to the sky makes your damage skyrocket. Using optic HUD doubles your crit damage

Otherwise, railgunner is the first survivor able to one-shot at all in terms of "pure base one shot". Even in the context of the achievement, doing 1 million damage in one shot isn't limited to the single hit of the shot. If you had 2 or 3 Runald's bands, an AtG, and procc'ed them both off of a snipe that did 100k damage, that all would total up to roughly 1M damage, and you would get the achievement

I got this achievement in my first god run where I tried going for the long haul challenge to get 57 leaf clover as artificer. I had 20+ crowbars, pink crystal white item thing, and armor piercing round. 10 glasses (crit item). And a whopping 250 delicate watches! Also 11 laser scopes. On top of that, some stuff where my healing damages enemies, ridiculous shield stuff, make your shots explode red item (even more damage), scorpion, some blue items and stuff to make my missle equipment fire constantly, and 40+ infusions. My highest damage dealt was over 2 BILLION!! Oh right, something that I found that can increase your damage a ton is if you get more than one of the raw damage increasing items. So if you get a something like armor piercing rounds or delicate watch or whatever instead of another crowbar (assuming those two are your first ones), it dramatically increases damage because a new item square's the number of damage rather than multiplies (or so I heard from another vid). so on top of crowbar, get that other stuff. At least 1 of the other stuff. Or don't, idk. I'm still new, and going off of stuff i just learned.

Items: A balance of crowbars, delicate watches, and crit glasses/laser scopes. (they multiply together) Shaped glass and spinel tonic will be big multipliers as well. If you stack 5 ATG's and proc one, it'll do 15x the damage of the shot that procced it. You could stack even more if you want, but 5 is pretty good. Notes: Only get delicate watches/shaped glass when you're getting about 250k damage per ATG proc, as they're somewhat risky. (if you want you could just skip shaped glass entirely) Keep in mind supercharge has a 3.0 proc coeffecient so ATG's have a 30% proc chance with that skill. Spinel tonic should be used only when you're doing 500k damage per ATG proc, as it doubles your damage while the buff is active but it has a risk every time it's used. As stated in the video, survivability and AoE are important, but don't overdo it.

"here are the items you think you need" I see Singularity Band there, and it was indeed what got me this achievement. A quick rundown of my build: a combination of Gesture of the Drowneds and Fuel Cells, for a total of 6. Blast Shower. At least 2 Singularity Bands. Then: find any group of enemies, a tankier Boss, a Gup, or shoot a SINGLE FLYING ROCK ON SKY MEADOWS. Result: Singularity Band will PROC ITSELF, giving you that juicy 1m damage number with ease... also works to "one shot" ANY boss even with low base damage. This item combo alone WILL kill Voidling. (you still have to get past the parkour though) Also, Safer Spaces cooldown gets removed when you use Blast Shower, so enjoy near immortality

I would suggest stacking AtG missiles instead of wisps and avoiding any other items which could potentially prevent a crowbar proc by damaging enemies you don't directly shoot (wisp, ukulele, etc). That first sentence is the basic need-to-know info. The rest is just a technical explanation of why this works so well. 3.0 proc coefficient on super charge increases the proc chance from 10% to 30%, the proc being per hit means piercing through multiple enemies gives more chances for it to proc, and each one you pick up adds another 3 shots worth of damage to the missiles it launches. It's easy to line up beetles for multiple headshots with a single super charge, so you can get a missile which multiplies the damage after all other items boost super charge's damage fairly reliably. A primordial cube makes lining up multiple headshots even easier. Since even bosses tend to die to a single hit of super charge, it's also very likely that missile will hit an enemy you didn't damage before and proc your crowbar. 10 crowbars is 7.5x damage against an enemy at full health. 3 AtG missiles is 9x the damage of the hit that procced it, including bonus damage from crowbars. That 9x damage will likely proc another 7.5x damage bonus by hitting an undamaged enemy. 7.5*9*7.5=506.25x damage With just 10 white items and 3 green items, a single missile can deal slightly more damage than 506 itemless super charge headshots with perfect reload bonus. If you are lucky enough to get a lunar item within the first couple stages, a single shaped glass will make that 2025 shots instead of about 506 since shaped glass doubles missile damage twice (doubling the damage the missile's damage is based on then doubling the damage it deals when it hits).

actual way to do it character select: all default railgunner, drizzle, command. stage 1: stack teddys from whites and various mobility from greens then get newt alter bazaar: stack 5 shaped glass stage 2: stack crowbars from whites and atg/ukelele/mobility/bands(ideally runalds)/whatever you feel like really bazaar: stack 5 shaped glass, turn all your greens into scopes, shoot at a wall for perfect reload bonus, shoot newts hand. 2 stages, -22 lunar coins, +really bad alternate move

Spawned the teleporter boss for Meadows but on my third time there. Tricorn'd for over 1M dmg and got the achievement in half the time I expected to grind it for.

There are several ways for perfect uptime on blue lean, you need 2 items fuel cell, and gesture of the drowned, added up to a sum total of 4 items; either one fuel cell and three gestures Or 3 gestures one fuel cell Or Two of each item

I did it with like 20 watches, 15 glasses, 10 crowbar, 2 laser pointers, and of course the active reload charged special shot. Those 20 percent damage watches stack well

Four gestures also gives you full uptime, so if you have a decent bit of lunar coins you can get full uptime tonic by stage 2

I'll be honest, I got this achievement on accident I have no idea how, I knew I had it as an achievement, but I managed it completely on accident after looping back for the first time in this particular run. there was a time when i tried it previously where i just stocked up on Crowbars only

If anyone is still having trouble, I might suggest adding Artifact of Glass to shorten the time needed to get this to work. 500% damage, and you have almost no healthbar.

Easiest way to do it is stack shaped glass and shoot the Newt Merchant's hand, doesn't take long either if you're using Command

For me I just hopped into a game with a friend, watched as his run spiraled into a god-run, and then just grabbed every shaped glass we could find in the newt shop as I got corpse-dragged to a million damage

Can confirm he dose not know how damage works. Also bands are actually one of the best items in the game because they deal a significant amounts of damage at the end of a proc chain (I play on xbox so idk what changes have been made in void dlc)

Artifact of glass. Artifact of command. Maybe sacrifice. Get 5x crowbars. first level. Activate newt shrine. Get 5x shaped glass. Hit the newt in it's weakspot with your R. Easy. Barely 5 minutes. Actually quite easy.
