Scott Dash no probs at all bud! When you say side pull do you mean feather the side then pull across, dry the squeegee and pull again till finished? If so then any kind of straight pull wether from the top or side will leave detailing. By using a squeegee which is just over half the size of the width of the glass you get more maneuverability and zero detailing using the Moerman end clips. I hope that answers it?? Thanks

Hi mate, do you use purified water for all your cleaning? And can you do a decent job using tap water for traditional cleans?
@TradMan4 жыл бұрын
I use purified water for wfp jobs that doing it traditionally is not safe or practical. Using tap water for traditional cleaning is fine as you are removing the water from the glass with the squeegee, as opposed to using a water fed pole brush where you are leaving the water on the window so that needs to be purified.
@paulhurst81134 жыл бұрын
TRAD - MAN THE WINDOW CLEANER thanks mate much appreciated, do most of your customers prefer the traditional method or WFP??
@TradMan4 жыл бұрын
@@paulhurst8113 most prefer traditional but mainly that is because they don't fully understand the wfp method. About a third of my work is wfp, with those customers, it's because they have hard to reach windows or they have actually requested the wfp. In my own experience, I get far more requests for a traditional clean than wfp, but that's probably down to a bad experience in the past or they don't understand it. If you have a sheet of paper with how pure water window cleaning work's, then if they ask, you can just hand them the info sheet and carry on working 😁👍🏻

yoyo895 hey pal! Thank you for watching!! The hose is about 60-70ft i think, yeah sometimes gets a bit tangled but i try to just watch how I'm putting it away and taking it out, usually i can just take the hose out and throw it away from me and it normally unravels perfect but occasionally i get spaghetti junction 😂

I'm glad I'm not alone!! I trad pole (thanks to you), wfp some jobs and trad downstairs on most jobs. I love the mix and having several tools at my disposal. I wish I could use the waterfed pole system. But I'd lose customers as my people despise it They sooner employ someone to clean there windows the traditional way every person so far I've spoken to have said the waterfed leaves the glass looking hazy. So I will just stick to my Moermon excelerator fliq When it comes and then try and get a extension pole . Sometimes I find being up a gives me that peace of mind knowing iv done a satisfactory job . Where as waterfed isn't as good as people think iv often had to go do someone's after there previous window cleaner used it and iv always had to spend time scrapping the glass because the wfs doesn't do a 100 percent job.
@TradMan6 жыл бұрын
Jay Jay i know exactly what you mean pal. Wfp is good for some but not all jobs
@ChrisAddis4 жыл бұрын
The wfp is only a tool as good as the operator. If a joiner does a bad job I find it hard to blame the hammer... Also I find it works both ways, yes you may lose customers due to nothing but the fact that they're stuck in their ways. I started mainly traditional and moved over to the wfp...never looked back. I find inget more work from guys that do a bad job traditional than pole...but hey ho. Great video...loving the tunes
@TradMan4 жыл бұрын
Yeah you can get bad trad operators, just as you can wfp. I think that the public generally prefer traditional because they understand it and see instant results, whereas unless you explain the pure water system, they wonder why the window is left wet. If the wfp user does a good scrub and rinse then they can get good results
