You`re right, the Accelerator and the Fliq is the best thing that Moerman have made. I got a 10" but I`m going to get another but possibly the fourteen inch. My Combinator, sadly, hasn`t lived up to expectations as I prefer the mop and Liquidator to using it.

Trad-Man.. Good vid.. I definitely agree with you on having the correct angle on the glass when using the Liquidator.. As you said, "it's a precision tool".. I found out quickly that I had to adapt and change my angle with each window I cleaned.. Once I figured that out, I didn't have the problem of lines being left on the glass.. Sometimes I get a few lines, but nothing that slowing down and paying closer attention to wouldn't fix.. Both the Excelerator and the Liquidator are great tools.. My only wish is that there was a wide body version.. Other than that, no complaints..,

We use it on regular cleanings, initials and building sites. At first I thought it was useless but it was me not knowing how to use it. Now its our most important tool in window cleaning arsenal saving us time and making job safe. We do awkward jobs look like ballet, we got used to builders stopping and staring at us working or giving us compliments for smooth cooperation on sites and for not getting in their way with bulky ladders. The best squeege ever

Been using the liquidator for just over year, brilliant tool just takes time to master at first . But then slowly over the last month I have seen watermarks on the edge , changed rubbers same problem , pinned edges as usual same problem - thought the channel must be bent , nope - Thought itmust be the change of weather getting colder , tried more soap less soap . Then the other day accidently dropped it and snapped the blue clip on the edge ,only then did I find out you can replace these . Put the new blue clips next to each other and realised I had rounded the tip of the blue clips too the point of no return, Put new ends on works a charm - Feel such a idiot for not knowing this - cost me a fortune in time and money a lesson learnt the hard way

I was using the excellerator on a 30ft pole to do all my work for the last month. Ended up going back to ladders last week and using the pole occasionally after having problems with that hot sun and some closing out issues on certain frames especially at heights over 20ft. That boy ryu who's modded the excellerator handle has hit the nail on the head. There are some frames that have a squared profile and are a bit thicker and when they are at height they are hit or miss on the close out on every angle. Had a gd look from inside the customers house to see and it was always at the closing out point where the bottom clamp and plastic pivot hit these thick frames. Might need to try the boys mod to see if it cures the issue. Anyone getting fanning lines with liquidators is either got bad technique or hasn't got enough slip on the glass.
@TradMan7 жыл бұрын
Garry Given yeah in hot sun it's tricky! too much soap = drys quick. to much water = not enough slip. hard to get the right mix on those scorching hot days.
@garrygiven32117 жыл бұрын
how much weaker does it make it? Had a look at some houses I done a few weeks ago with these frames and noticed the close out mark on some of them. To be fair even in hand it was difficult to get it perfect. Think the best way on the pole may be to turn the angle adapter to a sharper angle but I had been having problems with the unger adapter being too heavy and spinning round on the moerman pole when using it at sharp angles

I would recommend using either unger green, ettore master or pulex as they work well in the excelerator squeegees. Ensure the rubber is cut flush at the ends of the clips, so no rubber hanging out or too short either. Then lastly its solution setup. Dunk applicator into water, then apply soap directly to the washer. Then rub that onto the glass, before using the squeegee. After this it's practice practice practice

The light weight and swivel of Moerman tools are ergonomic for the wrist, elbow ,and shoulder. The handle does change angles for different situations. The 2.0 has a -20°, and -5°. Clips to fit widebody channels would be nice and 20 and 24 inch fliq pads... a 22 and 24 inch stripwasher sleeve and 22 and 24 inch t bars and maybe a 20 inch channel not the 22. Hello Moerman! Above 20 inches... widebody channels and below 20 inches i use standard channels. On big windows i use a 36 inch stripwasher and a 24 inch widebody. On french pain windows i custom cut the channels to fit the window and wet them with a damp sponge. I slice down the edge and pull strait across. If you get them to wet or use to much soap its not going to work. Also on smaller windows and on residential i change my water more often than i would on commercial windows. Now with the wfp its all about the inside and like french pains i just use less water and less soap (lemmon ammonia with a few drops of organic dish soap) and change my water more often.

It doesn't work. The Liquidator might leave "zero detailing" but the lines on the window mean using this squeegee is pointless. Just clean a window on a sunny day, then look at it from the inside! You'll then do with it the same as I did with mine, and chuck it in the bin.
@TradMan6 жыл бұрын
David Searle i do internal and external jobs with the liquidator. Never have issues. It will be your setup or technique. If you prefer a standard channel just use that but if you want to have zero detailing and perfect windows then all you need to do is practice.
