Louis was my classmate at the UCLA Film Scoring program. In one class he scored a 2- minute clip using ONLY drums. It was AMAZING. I enjoyed this clip so much. Great job, Louis and Genevieve!

That's hilarious. I bet the level of the drumming was good enough to pull it off, too.

Sounds like the clip was a precursor to "Birdman" as it is also scored exclusively with drums.

Amazing to see the kernels of what Knower would become in such early work. They grew and evolved their sound so much from here but the essence is on full display. The amazing, funky, technical drumming of Louis and Artadi's pitch perfect dreamy vocals are such a great pairing so it's so rad to see them still making amazing music to this day.

Love the contrast: How happy and fast the beat and melody are but the lyrics so sad. And how drum n bass and hard the percussion is, but the voice is so lightweight!

I thank Rockstar for turning me on to these two. If it wasn't for 'F--- The Makeup' appearing on GTA V, I would never have heard about them. And having heard the album which it came from, I have to say that Window Shop is definitely my favourite track from it.

It's amazing what kind of music you don't know about until way after the fact. The percussion is out of this world. When he plays he sort of bites his lips...I do the same thing, lol. Seriously, outstanding work. One take? Tons better and more unique than most of the mainstream music today. Funny how that works out isnt it? Just goes to show! On a final note, I really like the synths and voices used. The strings-type instrument gives that cold, air conditioned room with a fan feeling. ;)

great. And Cole's emphasis on showing how real these recording sessions are, and how simple he makes them seem, is a show by itself. The 'simplicity', created through much advanced planning and choreography no doubt, is a great art by itself. I first head the name Loius Cole from someone's comment on a ClownCore video. I checked out song after song, musical piece after piece, and I think Cole and Artadi must be hugely influential to future artists. They have created their own musical world. And it sounds so fine, then makes me pay attention to what's going on musically.
