Pretty sure it does, I did a visor on one and I told the customer it would probably effect it and he still wanted me to install. He later told me it made the system act weird.

@@FadeToBlackLLC i have it on my windshield...came with it. They cut squares out around the dual eyesight so it doesn't affect it at all.

@@LindaEEaton gotcha. Most of my customers like to have have dark visors. Next time I'm get one I'll have to see how that will look. At times you ask the customer what they think before we install.

I didn't see if you removed the panels or not? I have this same car.. and it seems so easy to tint. Def not a pro but have learned so much along the way.

awesome video! We have a customer wanting to do the sunroof for this vehicle. We normally don't do sunroofs but I am 8 months in , just tinting in general. Ive done full coverages on Teslas except one piece rear windshields on model 3. This visual helps a lot and it seems easy. Wasn't sure what to charge though hopefully I didnt overprice it...lol *we don't like doing sunroofs because of the risks of it cracking...Although I tinted my vehicle through a shop and the sunroof has been great for the past 5 years!

What % was done on the back windows? I have 30% on my fronts but want to get the rest done because Subaru OEM tint isn’t very dark.

Recommend not tinting windshield, cops will stop you if they can't see the driver at all. Friend of mine went to court on a ticket for that and judge found him guilty, said can't tint but about 7-9 inches at the top (sunshade). $250 fine was waived when he showed proof to the court it had been removed. Lesson learned.

If you use ceramic film and keep it light, not dark, it will keep the heat out and no need for cutting around the eyesights, I had mine done and works just fine. No issues and they can still see me through the windshield.

Yes i did the same. Ceramic film to reduce the heat inside. Now summer in malaysia, we can still feel the heat inside.

I went to two tint shops and they refused to tint the sunroof. Said it will crack it. I see that you are tinting the sunroof. So, I'm guessing that it's false.

I had a shop near me in Monterey CA refuse to do the sunroof stating the same thing. I should have asked for specifics but I have a theory. I’m wondering if the some cars already have the tint baked/mixed into the glass where there’s no film so it’s ok, vs film and maybe it’s the film that causes that problem? Just a theory. But yea, I was bummed cause I’d like to get my 19 foresters sunroof tinted. 😭

yes, my 2020 Forester has it on...They just need to be sure to cut out around the eyesight. It doesn't affect the performance at all.

@@msngry I think it was 35% or less Ceramic film. I can’t send photos here. The ceramic will do the job no matter how dark or not. Whatever is legal in your state will work, not sure what IG is.

pinnacle tint is legal pinnacle is just a series of film which is ceramic film you just can’t have dark tint on the front part of ur car because you’ll make cops look and stop you for having dark tint
