Actually he is my friend, and we are driving together. And the road was very slippery, so grip was an issue, even with the Porsche - we had awd, so had advantage especially through the corners and coming out of the corners.

Porsche with wide wheels susceptible to aqua planing. I drove a vehicle on 275 wide wheel and when it rains, car slides all over despite new tyres. Changed to 255 solved that problem.

The 911 wasn’t driving near its potential, when it’s wet the normal lane traffic is full of used tyre partials and becomes slippery. By trying not to follow the lanes but instead tighten entry and open up at the exit the driver could come on power earlier and would have easily kept up with Uncle. Glad to see the Porsche driver still drive within their limits unlike the BMW at the start. Driving style definitely changes when it is wet, and drivers who have a habit of snatching the wheel this really shows and is more detrimental when wet. Stay safe everyone and drive within your means 🙏

Uncle Khong, did you have the engine oil temperature reading set on the center console there, what's the max reading you got? 😮 as an old SJ forester owner, I drove normal also went upto 110deg C, yours i think easily +-130deg C already 😂
@YSKhongDriving6 ай бұрын
130
@xiaotai24 күн бұрын
SJ owner here, if you want to keep temps down you need to install EO and CVT coolers. You can also change a mishimoto low temp thermostat so the radiator kicks in earlier. And lastly you can try different engine oil. So far the best I've used is Moty's M110 and am still using it. Never go pass 110⁰ at Sepang and genting. Regular day to day drives temps averages below 85⁰ (auto I mode)

I enjoy watching your videos but you should have a format to give a content filled creation video (and professional). First a Quick Look outside the car and your impression on the design (before commencing journey) Secondly the description of the interior in particular the dashboard and the placement of the dials and buttons(some reader may be thinking of getting the car). While driving the performance of the car as you cycle through each gear, the brake and tyre performance in your opinion. When u reach the destination, stop the car, look into the camera and talk, it’s more engaging to the viewer rather than watching u talk and looking at the road. No offence ya, just sharing.

I do a separate video for the walkarounds. The Genting videos are for another segment, the drivers. Most of my reviews are in 2 parts, sometimes 3. Please enjoy and welcome to the channel. Suggestions are always welcome.
