There is going to be an updated version of Windows 11? Will its hardware requirements be way less strict than the original version?
@Sonicrush0072 жыл бұрын
22H2 will be coming out later this year. The hardware requirements will remain the same but there is evidence to suggest the situation in the future will get worse. Any PC that can run Windows 10 can run Windows 11, but there are extra steps needed that aren't difficult at all. What I have heard though is that Microsoft has been testing some sort of watermark which would be forced on PCs that are not officially supported by Windows 11. No idea if it will ever make it in though.

@@Sonicrush007 Wow, those are some examples of today's unacceptable nonsense related to Microsoft and Windows. But we will have to see what 22H2 will be like when it's released. I was hoping that it would have improvements for reasons of fairness as most people still use computers with BIOS firmware.
@Sonicrush0072 жыл бұрын
@@CEO100able I agree. I do not believe any of this should happen, but for now most of the requirements can be bypassed, even UEFI isn't needed (see www.easyuefi.com/wintousb/resource/how-to-install-windows-11-on-bios-computer.html ) 22H2 is pretty much final now, so I highly doubt that they will change the requirements in a short time period or that they will ever. I see that the situation is just going to get worse. While I disagree with Microsoft making the requirements more strict, I cannot recommend Windows 11 on a ten year old machine anyway. Windows is so heavily bloated these days that I believe that a ten year old machine would see more benefit on Linux with WINE, or even VMs on Linux where Windows software it is required and does not work on WINE.

Wow! VMware is the very powerful virtualization program, like VirtualBox, because VirtualBox is laggy when installing the newest OS in, especially when 3D acceleration is enabled!
@Sonicrush0072 жыл бұрын
VMware has the best 3D acceleration implementation. It works well except for the fact that for some reason it breaks on Microsoft Edge as can be seen at 15:56 in the video.

@@ThatOneWindowsFan It's super easy. Download and install it and the rest is obvious once you get to the end and it asks for activation and you start Googling.

It has a new version 22H2 and a new build 22621! It has faster internet and better quality! The new look, the better design!
@Sonicrush007 Жыл бұрын
True, but it does not make the Internet faster. How fast the Internet experience is depends on multiple things. Usually it is going to be what speed you pay for, the hardware of your machine, the settings of the PC and browser, and how much garbage you have on your PC.

I have 16 gb of ram on my PC since it's faster, and the internet is faster too

It's nice to be able to watch these videos especially since I can't get Windows 11 on my computer. (My computer is a Dell Inspiron 1525 [2008] with Windows 10 May 2021 Update, for those who, for some reason, wanted to know.)
@Sonicrush0072 жыл бұрын
You can actually run it on Windows 11, but it requires a workaround: www.tomshardware.com/how-to/bypass-windows-11-tpm-requirement Not at all saying that I'd recommend installing it on such an old PC.
@DanielC_YT2 жыл бұрын
@@Sonicrush007 Well, I only have 4GB of RAM anyways. If I actually DID want to run Windows 11, I'd have to spend who knows how much money on about 8GB of RAM just to be on the safe side; otherwise Windows 11 might use up all my RAM (it needs 4GB), and I would never get to use my computer again.
@Sonicrush0072 жыл бұрын
@@DanielC_YT As I said, I don't actually recommend it. Also, RAM is pretty cheap these days. I think I saw 8 GB for under $30 (USD).
