The Free upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10 was free for a "limited time" too. Even though it kept working all the way up to the day they took the Win 7 activation servers offline.

Those who haven't upgraded yet are unlikely to ever upgrade (either out of choice or because of hardware limitations). Microsoft already offered this promotion in the past. And you can actually use Windows 11 without activating a product key. They just won't allow you to tweak various UI customization options.

Iam gonna mod win10 when they stop updating it and iam gonna keep it for awhile.. 8.1 was problem free for me and iam not searching using windows at all now i use zorin linux for that

I got a new pc for my workplace and it's Win11. Ohhhhhh man I hate it !!! =(

Easy solve, watch video's on how to install Zorin OS, then format the drive to remove Windows11, then install Zorin OS. It will be a learning curve, but not as much as you would think, since the OS is designed to help Windows users migrate over to Linux. You will take your life back, and you will feel better about it. There is my free tip for the day.
