This is definitely one of my worse videos and I'm not very proud of it. However I want to focus more on actual Windows experiments, similar to my Windows 8.1 RAM video, instead of simply exploring operating systems like Windows bootlegs and betas, which will hopefully result in better and more enjoyable content. So unless you all don't want that, expect to see more of those types of videos now! Also credit to the CrustyWindows project where I found this bootleg who's creator was very nice and respectful about the lack of credit beforehand and definitely didn't immediately insult me over a video that hasn't gotten any views in months! :D

I would recommend fixing bootlegs by trying to restore them to their original form, making it look like the operating system was a clean install with no bloatware, no extra themes, and no custom icons, just plain old Windows. you should try it its kinda fun ngl

@@AtomStart like how you didn't address my second point at all (hint: I literally created the crustywindows project, so I get to have some amount of authority w.r.t it and requesting credit for things taken from the archive, which i usually wouldn't do unless it's flagrantly obvious credit was intentionally not given to the project for some nefarious reason) and you just had to skull emoji me on the first part because you knew I had you with that one lmfao either way both of my points are still valid. even if you start going into full gen alpha skibidi toilet mode over someone telling you so, constantly complaining (or otherwise acting intentionally inept) for """""content"""" is annoying as hell and a really stupid trope of wintubers who cover bootlegs, even ones that don't take things from the crustywindows archive (and at least a lot of the ones who do, unlike you, are nice enough to credit us without a reminder, but shrug)

@@AtomStart i personally don't want to drag this out. in hindsight my reaction was a bit much and i apologize for being as rude as i was. anyways, to bring a more respectful attempt at criticism, i still think that instead of constantly portraying bootlegs in a negative light (which, as a general note, seems to have stemmed from enderman, as i've seen other different channels do exactly the same thing), it's more fun (at least to me, and most of the other crustywindows community) to ironically have fun with them, if not have fun with them for real with some of the more broken ones. i understand if this is impossible, especially with certain bootlegs that are honestly kind of boring because they barely change anything, but in most cases, most of the bootlegs in the collection have at least some sort of amount of enjoyment in them, and it's worth at least trying, instead of continuing the status quo of being negative about them just because they have preinstalled software, or they look bad/poorly polished/etc.
