Microsoft operating systems are much popular than any other thing from Microsoft from the past few decades you noticed that Microsoft released many operating systems some are popular and some even flop also but what about windows 8 is it totally failer or what why people even not want to use this operating system even today or that time there are many points that make windows 8 separate from other version and yes its biggest failer as per my thinking

I used Windows 7 in 2 GB RAM but it took time to start, then I switched to Windows 8.1 Pro and it gave me a smooth experience. If anyone is having a low end PC then I would recommend you to switch to Windows 8.1

No this is not right, WINDOWS 8.1 IS THE BEST. WINDOWS 7 IS A DUMB OS. When I had windows 7, I cannot install much softwares, and no gaming facilities. I had a 4 gb ram pc with dual core. In windows 7 my PC became frozen. I cannot play any games on Windows 7, but when I switched to Windows 8.1 I can play all the games that I cannot play in Windows 7. Booting speed is very faster than Windows 7. And so much facilites are on Windows 8.1

Yes win 8 deserved the faliure, but 8.1 didnt. Major probles of win 8 were fixed and it became desktop friendly, yes i agree that the start menu was there which caused problems, but it didn't deserve that much hate for that.and features, huh? Win 8 introduced the full protection from win defender, ability to mount ISO files directl, stream music and videos from Microsoft offically, wddm 1.2 and later support, ms store and metro app support and much more.

The actual problem was that Windows 8 was made for mobile and tablets, but everyone installed it in PC and faced problems. It was mobile friendly. Windows 8.1 was made for PC and tablets. But people didn't install win 8.1 thinking that it will be same like win 8. So maximum number of people didn't even try windows 8.1, that is why maximum people say that windows 8.1 is of no use.

In 2014 , when I was in school, our old computer lab was updated with New HCl computers, with LED monitors.. they were running on windows 8, I was very impressed in that time by seeing that , and I personally liked flower type logo of windows 8,.. before that we were using old wipro desktops, windows XP, big big CRT monitors... I don't know why people disliked windows 8... But I liked that tiles animation instead of direct desktop after login..

Alot of people hate Windows 8, but I do not. I actually prefer Windows 8 instead of 8.1. Everything I am about to say is based on my personal opinion, so please do not take it seriously. I prefer Windows 8 more than 8.1 because it didnt have the start button. I think Microsoft did a good choice by removing the start button, because it gives me more space for applications on the taskbar. I also prefer the Start Screen instead of the Start Menu. The start screen is mostly meant for Windows 8/8.1 tablets, but I think its good for PC aswell. I also love the Metro Apps. Windows 8 and 8.1 were the only operating systems that had the Metro UI. For those who are wondering, Windows 10 has UWP, not Metro. My overall conclusion is that Windows 8 is better than 8.1. Sure, Windows 8.1 is good for low end PCs, but Windows 8 is EVEN better. All of this is just my personal opinion, please do not take it seriously.

I reinstalled windows 8.1❤ from windows 10😢 after the 20H2 update which was horrible with my PC and i found win8.1 runs super smoothly on HDD with 4gb ram, win10,11 basically designed to work on SDD+8gb ram since 2020 onwards , wish they had extended win8.1 support, we need to invest on new pc- no options left (except Linux 😢)

for me windows 8.1 is good for not high-end device my hp notebook 14 cm011ax smoothly runs on windows 8.1 and it cant run smoothly on windows 10 it always lag and my hp laptop specs are:amd ryzen 3 2200u mobile gfx graphics 4gb ram 5400 rpm 1tb hdd take note it does not mean if my laptop has amd ryzen 3 it can run faster than we expect it doesn't run faster it always lags on games sometimes and sometimes the laptop is freezing and hanging and yeah the laptop gets optimized when i downgrade it to windows 8.1 but yeah i can't game on it because its lagging but its good for a simple task like using it for browsing or watching videos etc and yeah it doesn't matter on me if i cant game because my hp laptop is just a testing laptop because i have a desktop computer that has amd ryzen 3 3200g vega 8 graphics with 8gb of ram and 7200 rpm hdd.
