Windows 8 Beta Hidden Boot Screen!

Here's an interesting Windows 8 Beta startup screen which was hidden and could be enabled using a Command Prompt + bcdedit, on Windows 8 Build 8045 to 8102.

Betas actually just for added and testing more features, if developer think it unstable or they think it don't fit with new OS, they can removed so there's some feature that removed from betas , like... ( I don't remember but it's feature from Longhorn but it was removed and they added it on Windows 8 or 8.1 )

This isn’t the Beta version. It is a Alpha version of Windows 8 which is (Milestone 3).

I booted a Windows 10 ISO on the VM in question. It bumped the date from 2011 to 2019.

I have seen it under Windows XP too, if loading takes a bit longer. But in later versions of Windows it was removed, as Microsoft and others tend to "leave" the text mode.

Well, the odd thing is: This fallback style is actually unique to these builds; normally the OS uses the Vista boot screen as a fallback.

The fallback screen barely appears unless manually enabled in bcdedit (based on personal experience)

Weird thing, when I used Win7 on Parallels, it used the Vista boot screen. Now I'm on VirtualBox and it uses the normal Win7 screen.
