Good stuff and welcome back. I tend not to use software based magnification due to the slowed down work flow when I'm using the PC. I'm sure others may find it beneficial though.
@LiveAccessible4 жыл бұрын
Yes, it does require a lot more CPU and GPU power. The built-in magnifier in Windows is the lightest one that I have found and works tolerably well with Even high-intensive tasks come up but it definitely does have an impact! Especially if you're using Photoshop since you do a lot of editing right? 😀

Marvelous! I hate having to run out to my car to grab glasses or use my monitor as my PC is hooked up to my 50' TV when there are simple shortcuts like these for nearsighted people like me :) Thank you!

Hi there! Thanks for watching. I'm glad it can help! Another option is, if you're in a web browser, you can hold down the control key and scroll up and down on your mouse wheel to change size. That will only work for the program that you do it though. 😊 Hope that helps!

Hey Carrie! Welcome back! You look fantastic! I am so glad to see you back. I hope you and little Pablo and big Pablo are doing very well. You guys are always in my thoughts and prayers. This is a great video, especially since I just recently had Microsoft look at my computer remotely and the guy was like you have a 3 year old version of Windows 10 we need to get you updated to the current version. So I have the most current version, but I had problems accessing the what windows start button. So another guy remotely fix that problem by downloading a new update. Now as far as I know it's fixed. But I will say though with this new version of Windows 10, everything has been moved and things are a lot different than the previous windows 10. Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but I guess I'll be playing around with that just like I still playing around with my iPhone. I do have a question Carrie. What is the best way 2 practice using voiceover on the iPhone. And how do you get it to talk really fast and how do people understand what is being said? Is that a learned process? I hope these questions make sense. Thank you Carrie for coming back. I sure have missed you and you really haven't lost a Beat sense your last video. You rock!

Hi Steven! Thank you so much. Yes, we're doing ok and I'll be oming out with a video on Friday about what has been going on. Do you have automatic updates on your computer? It could be a good idea because that can solve a lot of problems as they come up. As for apple, if you need practice with the gestures, you can turn on help. Double tap with 4 fingers and it should turn on help and you can do different gestures and hear what those gestures do. To exit it, you do another four finger double tap. If that's not what you're talking about let me know and I can try to help! Thanks Again Steven.

Hi grt video! I'm taking a typing test but the screen moves when I type the first word. How do I eliminate this?
@LiveAccessible3 жыл бұрын
Hi there. Thanks for watching. I'm sorry for the delayed response. You can go to the magnifier settings and turn off the follow text. However, you may not see the screen while you type if you set it to that. All the best!

Can you do a zoomtext vs windows magnafire video? Or simply explain the pros and cons of each?

Hi Carrie! My ISP has been down all week and still hasn't got the wifi signal working properly again yet. I have made a wired work around straight from their modem, but it is an awkward reach. Meanwhile I'm cramming all the keyboard commands for windows latest narrator update. It is really tough with this laptop keyboard as well and the touchpad mouse I can't toggle freeze. Loses focus a lot. Baptism by firewire. Missing you tube deluxe.
@LiveAccessible4 жыл бұрын
Hi Audrey! Maybe it would help if you brailled out the shortcuts? Just an idea. I need to check out the new improvements on narrator. Do you use the mouse at all? If not, maybe you can cover it with something. I'm sorry for all your wifi troubles girl! How is your dad? Doing better I hope!!!
@splashesin84 жыл бұрын
Oh no I think I dropped the reply I had going here and am just starting over. I sometimes use the mousepad a little bit like just now when everything went away and tabbing and keyboard commands didn't seem to be doing anything. I wish there was a toggle command to freeze the touchpad on this like on some devices but doesn't have that right now. My dad is doing a little bit better now that he is at his house, but still got a long ways to go before he can be intaking enough food and fluids. It is slow going, with this same volcano type symptom, of weirdest secretion of gunk ever experienced in our lives. He can't find anyone who really gets what he's talking about who can also understand why he's having such a hard time talking. I do because of having the same weird problem for at least eight weeks before he got this. Thankfully he is still breathing okay. I was able to keep myself from dehydrating as bad as he got, but had a very hard time breathing. Previous vent experience made me use every trick I could remember to keep breathing by myself. I know he is still not getting great saturation, but is working on it. He just wanted to not get fluid in his lungs so quit drinking at all and hoped they would give him fluids at the hospital like his doctor told him to call back about but then they just ignored him, and he went longer than 10 days. He ended up having to get his heart shocked back into sync by the time he could get hold of a person from another network. I am still praying for y'all too. I hope you guys are feeling better. My dad lives long distance from me, and with my brother, but they are a mess sometimes when it comes to timing and organization. They were doing what they could with no vehicle but they are also in a place where the state of their state has lost the plot even worse than healthcare has slid across the whole nation. He is taking a sip or a bite of something once every five or ten minutes and reheating stuff trying to eventually get a good amount in. The other trick is him having to work pill swallowing in between all of it, through out the day. He's also having the same clotting and then not clotting enough deal back and forth.

Thanks for the video. I don't know why Microsoft doesn't make its zoom as smooth as Apple's iMac.

Hi there! They are still working on the development of windows magnifier. I'm curious to know what part of mac zoom feature does windows magnifier not have? All the best, Carrie.
@gameplayplanet50153 жыл бұрын
@@LiveAccessible Hi. The mac os zoom is more smooth when zooming in and zooming out. On windows, there's that slow transition.
