Thank you for your reaction! You didn't found the ideas behind the song and the staging, but let me explain with more details! It’s a fun entry with deeper meaning lyrics: Is there something wrong with the way I look? Is there something wrong with who I am? If I'm not alright, tell me why do I Feel so beautiful tonight? No rules! It's how I live How I find the wind beneath my wings, It's how I learn to fly! It’s an anthem for being who you are 🌈🎉🎊 And at the same time it’s a birth story based on Kalevala, the Finnish mythology🦅🥚 I like the message and also how it combines the Finnish mythodology Kalevala where the world is created from the goldeneye’s’ egg. In the stage performance the singer Henri represents the bird (see the similarity of the movements the clothing and Kalevala inspired boots) and the Windows95man is born (as all humans) naked. The stage coordinator tries in the middle of the song give the rules to our hero but he throws those in the air. He wants to be free and understand who he is despite what the others want him to be! He is looking for his jeans shorts and finally they descent from the heaven (mythodology) and our guy becomes Windows95man and starts the party with cheerful fireworks!💥 DJ Windows95man have been dj:ing now 11 years already and he is also a visual artist and using Windows95man outfit (denim shorts and windows95 t-shirt and cap) since over a decade. Henri Piispanen is professional singer and voice actor. Check out KZbin for his bands “Pasa” and "Kontio Polar". The guys met while doing this project and liked each other’s and decided to participate in ESC. The people of Finland want people to have fun and if we win we do it our way. We once did it with Lordi 2006 - but do you know why? Since that year they didn't have juries, only public voting! We have sent some more beautiful songs, last time 2017 Norma John with “blackbird” and we didn't even go from semi-final to final thanks to the juries! Well, that's why people want to send songs to the Eurovision that people like and represent the Finns - a little strange, crazy but fun (the happiest country in the world for 6 years now)! 🎊🎉🤩

Thanks for the detailed background story and explanation of the Finish entry and the artist. It still does not make the performance enjoyable for me I‘m afraid. Everyone has a different taste, humor and sense of aesthetics. None of them are met for me. Still a NO from me! But I get your point with the struggle for qualifying since the 50/50 Jury-Votes.

You are much too serious, as the song is about having fun and being yourself whatever that is. And I can say this clearly, as this was my least favourite one before the final. PS. This is a follow-up to last years Portion Boys, nothng else.

I‘m sorry but neither does this sound nice nor is this enjoyable to watch in my opinion. It‘s just ridiculously bad. Sorry for Finland… and other good quality acts that couldn‘t make it to Malmö because this nonsense won :(

I still haven't gotten over the fact that Karijaa didn't win last year, I was rooting for him. This year the Finnish song is also a joke, but Karijaa was a good joke, this year is a cheap joke.
