Windrock 4th of July Waldens Ridge Ride T75 and T54A

Great day of riding at the Rock. Walden Ridge was awesome as usually. After the Devils Elbow eat our lunch the sky's opened up and tried to drown us just as we were getting to the Widow Maker. We decided to pass up the Widow Maker and head toward the trucks. Only real issue was a Roctane on my machine that has 4 extra lugs now. We finished the day soaking wet with 85 miles behind us.

I used to ride dirt bikes up there 20 years ago. It definitely didn’t look like that. Y’all are nuts. If you slip or flip where does it stop. I’ve thought about getting a s/s. If I do I’ll not be taking it there.

Do you guys unhook your sway bars? I hear a lot of fellows saying unhook your sway bars for rock crawling/ trail riding,Just like to know your group's opinion before doing so..

James Smith That was the first thing I did to my machine when I bought it. It has never been trail rode with a sway bar.

What do you run for clutching in your XP 1000? Seems to crawl great!

Carl Bloom my machine has stock clutching. The red machine has a gear reduction in it.

Depends on the route you take, you can do it in 4or5 hours if you want to, or take all day.
