Thanks for the part at the end about having the side of the drawer on the wrong side. I put my first one backwards, tried it and it didnt work. I decided to put the rest together then figure it out. Found your video and realized my mistake.

It’s amazing how many times there is a 50/50 chance of getting it right and it still comes out wrong 😁

I bought one. I moved the shelf up to allow storage of my lawnmower underneath. I used the space under the left side where 2 drawers go as shelf space which left only the 2 drawers on the right side. I did not install the vise and removed that support structure underneath. I ripped two 2X4 to 2 1/2 inches wide and glued and screwed it it the front and back edges. I bought 4 ball rollers and installed them on the bottom of each end support. Under the holes as needed, I screwed in a plumbing ceiling support bracket allowing any equipment to be fastened to the bench using 3/8" bolts.. It is a very strong bench and is quite capable of taking nearly any torque force you can give it. The dog holes are accessable and useable. I'd send a photo if I could.

Great info. I'm planning to grt one and move the shelf up so I can store my lawnmower under it. Since the long front and back shelf support boards are already drilled all, I think, I have to do is and drill new holes for the screws. The barrel nut will still go into the same place. I'll add a cross brace at each end.

Sounds reasonable. Let us know how it turns out.

60" is 5 feet. The washer and bolt are for the end of the vise screw. The other barrel bolts are spares.

If I went in looking for the 5 foot Windsor workbench and they told me all they had was the 60 inch Windsor workbench, I think I would’ve laughed sarcastically and walked out! 😆

Can the vise be easily installed on the left side and used or it the vise right side only?

There are counter sunk holes on the table side. So I think it would have to be modified to move to the other end. But I'm sure it could be done. This wood is very easy to work with.

I bought one excited about it. Worst Assembly Instructions I've ever come across. Pay to have it put together or buy something else.

Not long after I started putting it together, I thought, I need to do a video about this.

I just bought one and will be following your instructions, thanks! What do you think about adding wood glue to all the mating pieces before screwing them together? Would that help a little with the stability?

I used glue on the drawers. But everything seems reasonably sturdy without it. It will be a little messy if you have to reposition anything

Not the video, that is helpful. The booklet that comes with it is bad. :)
