I grew up in Windsor and you really take it for granted when it's on your doorstep !

@@SandyMakesSense Windsor has or use to have really good night life with bar and clubs. There was an up market end and a not so. But the pubs are lovely you can see a tunnel that use to run from the carpenters arms to the castle, and the 2 brewers built into the castle wall at the start of the long wall is lovely.

It's so lovely to see these places. I was in Windsor last year in August during my holidays in UK. I do miss England so much because I couldn't go to UK this year because of .... yes Corona! I also miss the trains. Last year I went by train from Teddington to Windsor. It was a very nice day trip and Windsor is really lovely.

We were in Windsor five years ago and it was one of the best parts of our trip to the UK. Not sure if I am correct about this but it seems that short and easy trip out of London really gave us a good feel for what the English countryside was really all about - simply beautiful. Thanks Sandy - a great VLog and wonderful reminder of Windsor and its splendor!
