Thank you for donating to the diabetes foundation. I have diabetes and didn't have insurance when I was diagnosed. If it wasn't for the foundation I would not have been able to get my meds, syringes, the education on tanking my meds and above all the food educational aspect of how to control ups and downs of glucose control. Your donation is greatly appreciated! Whether in the USA or Canada the foundation benefits everyone diagnosed with diabetes because they educate you on what horrible effects diabetes can have on your body if you ignore or deny your disease. I really enjoy your videos and love seeing Kelly outdoors on her walks. My neighbors think I'm nuts for walking my dog and cat together, but they love their walks together. Happy tails and safe travels to you Emi!

Hi Emi, I was so glad to donated to Diabetes Canada. Diabetes is close to my heart as my youngest son had it from 5 years of age through to his passing 💔. To go through our belongings now and then it's amazed what we can pass on to someone else for their enjoyment. I so enjoy following your channel and seeing the beautiful countryside of awesome Canada. Your trip across country Canada was so inspiring to me. Thank you Emi for uplifting me spirituality daily. May Heavenly Father continue to watch over and protect you and little Kelly daily. 💖🙏

How beautiful waterfall and suspension bridge. I don't care how much time it would take me to walk to it I'd visit on my list. A simple smile and hello goes a long way. Beautiful souls. This world needs more people like them. Donating whatever we no longer needs or use is such a small gesture with big gain for many helpful associations. Decluttering is also good for our stress. Much love 😘😘

I have a friend I visit every so often and they smoke. I don't. So when I go home I have a bottle of laundry scented beads (I forgot the name of it) anyway, I put warm water in a spray bottle and a good sized hand full of these beads, give it a shake to dissolve the beads and spritz my clothes, hang to dry. In the morning, no longer smells like cigarettes. Maybe that will work on campfire smoke.

Autre anecdote mon mari s'appelle Bip LOL.

Hi!! Glad you’re safe from the storm. I was wondering about your reflectix window covers. Have you ever thought about making them insulated? You put two of them together, filling the middle with wool or other insulation. It would help with keeping the van warm. There’s a deep freeze heading your way again soon. Burr!!! Love your videos!!

I use the thrift store as long term storage, I take winter clothes in spring, get a set of summer clothes while I am there. Except old cotton clothing which I cut up into rags, then cut up more to compost. I have an 8 year supply of aluminum cans, so I bought metal shears and started to flatten them for shingles on my shed. I had thought to melt them down, but that leaky shed roof is a better solution. Plus, it is not heavy like boxes of shingles. You know you are old when you have to unload purchases in bits and pieces.

Whenever I have second doubts about donating something, I remind myself that there is always someone else who will need it more than I, or appreciate or enjoy what I have donated. It always gets me over that hump and pushes me to donate! 😊 On another note, what kind of tea kettle do you have? I looked on your "everything in my van" link but didn't see anything. I've been searching everywhere for something small. How much does it hold? Thanks!

Speaking of scary noises, do you ever hear coyotes screaming or their eerie yapping? Having spent time in places with howling winds, its the coyotes screaming send chills into my bones. It really sounds like someone is being murdered.. I know they are shy, usually just communicating with each other, generally pose no threat, but their vocalizing at 3 am is certainly intimidating. My dog shakes when she hears it. Any other wildlife that you hear? I have had to minimize my books, which is difficult. Especially my art books, some of which are very heavy. Safe travels...And yes big friendly HELLOs are so nice, but some folks take it the wrong way, so I am careful with that:)) You are beautiful and that sometimes can be a burden. Always refreshing to be able to spend some time in Emi World. Thanks 😊

And most of it, i never use or even see, because its all buried deep!!! Plus I'm a creative person, so I tend to save things that look like they could be repurposed!!! Thats all well and good, IN MODERATION!!! But I don't have a moderation meter! I just save it all!!! I need to change this about me!!! But how??
