I was here in 2014 (2 week). Yes so beautifull, lot of french, and so good restaurant ! POUSADA if you don't like hotel. Club Ventos the best ! We love it Ben THX

Looks like a good chill out version of Jeri. Done a clinic with Colin whippy D pre-pandemic, would love to revisit one day. How was the experience with TAP Airlines and the boardbags Ben? I travel to Icaraízinho every year, because was still pretty much undiscovered but I think that have just changed now 😂 Less wind and waves, but less people too.

Haha.. sorry mate! But yeah Tap were good for me.. no questions! On the website said max dimensions 200m (where I was well over) also I only paid the ‘surfboard’ price not the ‘windsurfer’ but worked out good.

Icaraizinho used to be focused on kite mostly (due to lighter winds mostly), are they trying to get windsurfers back?

I’m not sure.. down the bottom of the bay there looked like there was a kite school. Up the top end windsurfers and wingers.. but weather since I’ve been here has been untypical apparently. More like January weather!

Well I’m being told this is the worst the weather gets. Apparently the weather at the moment is more typical of January! I’ve just got to Jeri and similar weather but maybe some proper action the next days!
