Windwalker Monk | LEGACY DUNGEON TESTING! | SEASON 2 PTR | DAY 6

What's up Windwalker's and welcome to my sixth PTR stream (wow, time flies when you're having fun)! In this stream, we will be delving into the three legacy dungeons coming back in season 2 of The War Within. We will be testing out all of the new and upcoming Monk talents along the way to really get an idea of what is going to be the go-to build for the new season. Sorry if you said this somewhere in your video... but does spinning crane kick not have stacks anymore? Seems like removing our main AoE playstyle loop?

@jackcook6572 Yo, sorry for the late reply! Yes, so in season 2 we will no longer have MoTC stacks for SCK. Basically SCK will do a set amount of damage (80% buffed from retail right now). Honestly I wasn't a fan of this at first but it actually just means you can focus on micro managing other things instead now like CoC CD windows! However, what this also means is SCK with a chi'ji proc does an INSANE amount of damage and will be run in all ST builds. It is pretty much our strongest single button in ST when dance procs. The downside to these changes is that SCK will do less damage than it does on live at 5 targets but it should still be high in priority - its not a crazy nerf. Overall I don't think it removes our main AoE playstyle loop - it just simplifies it a bit :)

what is the haste cap ?

The haste cap is 30% before diminishing returns set in. However, as it currently stands haste is so good that we should be looking to go over 30% in most situations, like a lot of other classes do, without any real negative repercussions :) Always sim your character and you should be a-okay!

It's a little too early to say just yet how good Windwalker is going to be in season 2 as there is still time for more buffs/nerfs! However, as it currently stands there are a lot more viable builds you can go and Shado-pan isn't looking like the set-in-stone hero talent which is a great change! I'm cautiously optimistic, but in general I feel like WW is feeling better than it did last season and hopefully it stays this way :)
