Perfect place to live is that as living in Hawaii with that all natural sightings and beaches, but need to be Affordable as Yogyakarta Indonesia, and also need as 'quiet' as Alaska, that's heaven.

I think whoever the land developer for Lanikai was -- building expensive houses right up to the beach, with no parking, no bathroom facilities etc on one of the best beaches is a crime. Really bad planning there. The least the state could do is buy one of the homes for demolition, make it public and build bathrooms and a shower for everyone that wants to use it -- not just the lucky beach front owners.
