That bar on the left at the corner of Windward and Lucas Road @15:48 was once the first school I ever attended....it was basic school for which I can't remember the name....also the old John R Wong Supermarket on the other corner of that intersection.....its sad to see it is now an old shell of what it was before......

Hi JI. In all your travels, I've noticed one thing: Jamaicans love to paint their houses in the boldest and brightest color combos. One thing I didn't notice was homeless people sleeping on the streets. Did see a bunch of what appears to be homeless dogs walking as if they have a destination in mind. Part of one of those side streets looked as if the road was recently done, while the other part has potholes so large, one could swallow up a small car. I thought Coronation Market was off Windward Road. TFTT, JI

To be honest they are homeless people on some of the streets I cover but I try not to show them and other persons, especially their faces. I’m a private person so I try to respect the privacy of others. Jamaicans are a colorful people so this love for colour is often expressed in our fashion, homes etc. There seems to an office associated to a political party on that paved road so maybe that explains the privilege afforded to it. Coronation is relatively close by to Windward Road. TFW, K.

@@JamaicanInsider I'm also a private person. I applaud you for considering the feelings of the homeless. I'm always mindful of how the people I associate with treat others who are less fortunate. That's why I love my husband who is one of the kindest and most compassionate person I know. I remember being on Windward road when mom went to the market. It actually came into my mind that maybe the good part of the road had something to do with just that.
