I just had a 1992 Lynch-Bages Bordeaux Blanc this weekend. While everyone thought it had some bottle age, they were all thinking 6-8 years, not 31 (it was a blind tasting). Great wine. I know a lot of red wines that don’t age as well as this white.

@@AttorneySomm the article was on some blog called winegourd and titled “The modern ranking of Bordeaux left-bank wines”. Unfortunately the rankings they compiled data from that resulted in that list is more based upon price then quality. But I thought you might find it interesting. From an investors standpoint price I’d suppose is the number one thing. From my standpoint, someone with limited funds that loves drinking good wine, quality/price ratio is what I care more about.

I've done videos on all the first growths, Pichon Baron, Pichon Lalande and several others where I discuss all the wines they produce. Also, I have two specific videos focused solely on my favorite second wines, one from the right bank and the other from the left bank. My suggestion comes from the idea on how you would compare the second wines with the classified ones in order to understand were the second wines could be placed in therms of quality. Are they at the same level as the classified? in which growth would they be placed hiphotetically? those are the questions I make myself. Great videos btw!
