I read a really interesting interview with Dr.J. They asked him what he wanted to exude most in his career. He said never wanted to look small. He wasn't talking about height...I've never seen Sifu Izzo look small 💪😎

More good stuff. Thanks. "Facing" - an interesting alternative to "Center Line", which is more often misinterpreted than understood.

Facing is super important, some wc guys get KOd from hooks because they stay linear

Awesome❤ as always Izzo sir. I have no wrestling experience and new to wing chun but love it cause concepts are always superior to technique and will work no matter what ( however I am an amateur boxer)and absolutely love wing chun and try using these concepts against friends during sparring in the boxing gym. Sir do you have an online course?? I would love to learn from you but I can't come in person .

I could of trained with any Wing chun teacher in the world ! There is nobody on earth like him There will never be a student who will ever have half the speed and skill he has.He is the only WCKF GM who teaches 6 days a week!

Grandmaster Swift is the #1 Wing Chun guy in the world .He makes all these other sifu's look like there in training wheels I have trained with Sifu Swift He would literally put you to sleep in seconds.Go train with Gm Swift he learned it from the best in the world His street tactics are superb

@@mdfds963 gently. Sifu Swift is my sifu too. Izzo is doing some good here. Give him a chance. I've learned over the years that the more references you have the better. Meaning each Sifu has something to offer and the ultimate goal is to dominate your attackers. If Izzo says like Sifu Swift then play with it.

When I worked at the prison, I had a trainer who taught Krav Maga. How is that different from Wing Chun? I can't do any of it now do to spinal issues, I'm just curious.

Uh ... she did the thing without knowing any wing chun. Therefore, wing chun! You obviously know how to wrestle. Why not just do that and make your channel about how to do wrestling for self defense for adults?
@normanwalford94263 ай бұрын
Because wing chun is his style and for the most part wing chun guys don't get into fights with each other. You have to think about how you are going to deal with people who don't do your style. Izzo is addressing this.

@@normanwalford9426 I actually don't have an arugment for this. I guess this just struck me as odd, like he was saying this technique came from wing chun. obviously, it didn't. But I am wrong here. My bad.
