When you do sparring with kicking, you have to be fast with your footwork and to be mobile.
You must be able to get in and out quickly to avoid a front kick or low kick.
You cannot step in to quickly, otherwise you run in in to his kick.
Sparring is never as clean as a pre-studied drill !
You pull your front leg away first. Your also not able to make the Wing Chun half step back, because you need to make distance. You have to step over backwards to make a bigger step.
Arms can not do much now, becouse you not come close to each other.
(The purpose of this sparring is not focus on the arms.)
