Really really clear - thank you - heading out in an hour to give it a try!

Super awesome jibe tips - one thing that helped me get it was to bend my knees more going into the jibe because control of the pitch changes when the wing is depowered.

"Don't have much power in my wing because I am pointed downwind"... This is exactly my problem. Thank you.

Thank you for the video! 🏄♂Which foil are you riding? It seems to have excellent low-speed planing ability but can also generate good speed.

In this video I used the 960 Atlas: wingfoilprocenter.com/products/kt-atlas-full-kit?_pos=1&_psq=atlas&_ss=e&_v=1.0

Great video I’m nailing my jibes now however light wind is so tricky I let go of my back hand too soon causing my wing to become back winded hopefully I can stop this bad habit lol

Great detailed video very helpful beautiful board what are the dimensions of this board and is it considered a mid-downwind board?
@DamienLeroyYouTube2 ай бұрын
Yes the Super K is a mid-length board, I used the 60L in this video: wingfoilprocenter.com/products/kt-super-k?_pos=1&_psq=super+k&_ss=e&_v=1.0

On the first jibe I can see how you avoid getting your left hand tangled in the leash. That's fine, but there is still some delay and it is distracting. When doing a toe-side jibe, you release the leash from the handle with your forehand after gybing. The leash just gets in the way, what bothers me, but I see I'm not the only one dealing with this issue. There must be techniques (hand/wing movements) that avoid all of this. Sometimes it's okay, but I'm still not perfect with it.

Do you mean the strut horizontal instead of vertical?
@DamienLeroyYouTube2 ай бұрын
I mean the strut spends very little time vertical during the transition, the strut points in the direction you are riding until the hand switch, during the hand switch the strut is quickly redirected into the new riding direction. The strut should not hang vertical during the jibe otherwise you will run into your wing. It's not as much of an issue in strong wind, but it will be an issue in light wind.
