Great tutorial. I do like the subtitles as well because I can stop the video to read and visualise the instructions then practise the movements. Inspiring and very helpful.

What a beautiful place to Wing. You appreciate the beauty of light wind because no crowds, tranquility and smooth water..it is dreamy. I see you have a few wings and foil setups for light wind.. which is your favorite and why? Awesome videos too, thanks!

Thank you. The strike CWC 7 works best so far in light winds. The board could be a little smaller. (70-80 liter for 76kg would be perfect i think) So far i really love how early the Phantom 1780 starts to lift. Today i will test the F-one Seven Seas 1400...this could even be better due to better glide... Time will tell. Greetings

@@gusthunter4181 yes halving your board size will help. I was out on a mountain lake yesterday, of course without my gear, and I was thinking Gust Hunter could ride these light winds haha. I'm around 90kilo with a 95L Naish and a 6.4M Slingwing that I love. I have a gong XL Low Aspect wing that is around 1900, I hope to someday fly like you brother! I'm going to sub..keep us posted on the new foil setup 👍

Great tutorial, got a lot of ideas. What do you think is more important for the foil: a lot of area (2200+cm2 like your armstrong) or span and high aspect (like de PNG 1300 foil)?

Nice video. I like it more when you talk rather than reading subtitles. Do you think a board with a beveled tail is going to be better for pumping in light wind? I'm considering Sky Wing 5'4 for my 82kg or Gong Flint 5'6 which is also 95l.

This tutorial format is perfect! I have a question: with light wind I find it hard to go upwind if I don't constantly pump the wing and the board, but you seem to keep a pretty steady stance and manage to come back where you started. How do you do that and what could I be doing wrong?

I’ 170 so i’m probably gonna stick to this 6m for a while. I dont expect to start with 6knots straight away but eventually. I’m experienced with wakeboarding and windsurfing so i hope to progress quickly starting with 10-15 knots. I also bought a 5m wing and 1900cm2 wingfoil for stronger winds. I would love to do some surfing but i live at a lake, have two kids and need to use the time i have as efficently as possible ;)

@@oceanlance A bigger wing is also more floppy to pump...But if you go with the strike CWC i think it is worth to go with 7 or 8 meter. The front wing on your foil is doing most of the magic i think.
