Hi Tucker. Whats your favorite foil for wing? (having a compromise between both speed and control in mind). Thanks.

Hey Morten, Depends on the conditions. My favorite for our normal conditions right now (20-30 knots, 3-6' waves) is the F-one Phantom 1280 on the 82 carbon mast. For lighter days, I've always favored the Moses 1100 on the 82 carbon mast. The New NP HP19 is a star for lightwind as well if you don't have the budget for carbon. Tucker

What about a drysuit for wingfoiling? A bunch of wingfoilers here in Ontario Canada wear them and say it's a gamechanger?

Drysuits are super nice if you are in flat water but I don't suggest them in waves like we get here in the winter. A good 5/4 or 6/4 hooded is good as long as you stay active. -Tucker

Any tips on gloves for cold weather winging? My hands get cold in my 2.5mm gloves. Then I tried the NRS 3mm kayak gloves and my hands were warm but then I got mega arm pump within 20 minutes.

I'm a big fan of the 2023 Mystic Supreme gloves. They've been redesigned for more flex, precurve, and durability. The Ion claw and lobster are nice as well. -Tucker

@@MACkiteboarding Rad thanks! Have you heard of anyone wearing nitrile gloves under their thinner neoprene gloves? Or dish gloves?? I feel like a 5mm glove would be so stiff and would have the same arm pump effect.

@@jasonhume2439 Any glove will have some level of arm pump but a good 5mm glove in a size larger than the size chart indicates is about as good as it gets. Nitrile or dish gloves will give you some wind protection but that's about it. -Tucker

Good tips, however I’d rather chop wood, stoke a fire and sit beside that fire with my dog while sipping hot cocoa while daydreaming of kiting in Florida like Rygo is right now! Oh yeah, I’m in Florida and its chilly, but a lot less bone chilling cold, so come on down! And yesterdays session wasn’t bad either. Stay warm !

Bahaha! I was complaining about it being in the 50’s recently. 🤦🏻 puts it in perspective... I will say Florida cold is a real thing. 55 In Michigan is warm! 55 in Florida is damp and cold! 😛- Rygo
