I carry a tomahawk daily, and own several from RMJ, Winkler and Wingard, and the Wingards are as prized to me as all the others. Light, unique, built form combatives, and effortless to carry. Bravo, Wingard fam.

Great review! Don't have an Empress yet, but I do have the Backripper tomahawk. Very authentic in size, weight and construction to French and Indian War era tomahawks.

Great looking products. Unfortunately, when Texas relaxed (virtually eliminated) its knife laws several years ago, they threw the tomahawk in at the end of the "always illegal" category "Bludgens". If you live in Texas or are traveling to Texas, you should check this out. I was hoping there would be an outcry at least from the historic reenactors, and the hawk would be removed.
