Dang... You sold me Jeff! Already had my board leash on my calf - but going to get my wing on my waist. Are many people going without a board leash? I haven't tried or figured out how to body drag without the board if thats even possible. Seems like there are some advantages of wiping out and clearing away from the board without it yanking back towards you?

I'm on a waist leash for the wing and ankle for the board. Was thinking of moving the board to the waist as well. I'll give the calf a go and see how that works out.

Yeah the ankle puts the leash at the feet and makes it where you step on it all the time. The calf keeps it out from u see your feet.

Thanks for the great info as always! I've been meaning to try moving to the waist. My wings have 2 leash points (RRD EVO y29) What do you suggest?

Are the coiled leashes ok for winging in waves ?

Hi Jeff, this is great, thank you. I am very happy with waist leash for the wing, but currently also connect the board leash to my waist harness. How is the calf leash for those who switch feet? Does it get in the way at all during foot swaps or if the leash is on your front foot? Or is the calf leash better for folks who don't switch feet? Also, looks like the riders on the GWA are just using a wing leash and no board leash. What are your thoughts on that? Probably not a good idea for most folks... Thank you!

Could you show us how you connect the stopper ball setup? Is it something you make yourself?

Just tried my wing leash connected to a harness. Hated it. Leash tangled w everything including the board. I watch a zillion winging vids and it seems pretty 50/50 what riders prefer. BTW, I tried your ball stoppers and they are great.

Yeah it’s important to get the board leash moved to your calf. Then wing to waist. But whatever works for you. Ride on. Thank you for the feed back
