Thank you! I was looking at a tutorial for hooded eyes and like almost every other tutorial for hooded eyes, this girl had a perfectly 'flat' surface to work on. It was so frustrating! Then I suddenly realised that I should look for tutorials for deep set eyes. Somehow I never realised I had deep set eyes. I'm definitely going to try this out!

@@HikariTheGardevoir I’m so glad it was helpful! I also struggled with finding people with “actual” deep set or hooded eyes showing how to do a wing. So that’s why I did this video!

I have deep set eyes that look very similar to Bethenny Frankel’s eyes. (Trying to give a visual there since I can’t attach a picture of my eyes.) I have very prominent brow bones that completely hides the outside crease area of my eyelid. I have always struggled with adding shadow when there is such a strong shadowed line cutting right through.

I can understand the challenge with that, as I've had clients who have the same issue who have wanted a "cat-eye" effect. Usually, I try to use the approach of extending the line out more vertically than diagonally, if that makes sense? There's less real estate to cover if you have less skin to cross by making the cat eye more vertical towards your temple. Also, starting your cat eye on the lower lash line and extending from there can help to give the illusion of it, too!

I also use 1/3 lashes on the outer corner to give that effect sometimes too!
