I used to watch your videos when I was in college and play my own version of your Transcribed midis. So cool to see you doing league themes again as they got me into playing piano. Will always appreciate this channel.

Is there a plan for the sheet music to be made available? I'm looking forward to it 🥺

The best league piano videos are *still* yours. 👌

You and grim cat piano arrangements both have their positives and negatives.. I overall think yours is better but. The song would be a masterpiece if your songs were combined in a different universe.

Damn. So glad to see you back. Any recommendations regarding league pieces for beginners?( I'm still at minuet in g major xd)

Unfortunately 99% of my League pieces are for advanced levels but you might have some luck with my easier versions of Kindred, Taliyah and Braum or try some other channels who actually play their arrangements such as Grim Cat Piano or Chillowl

@@winged_souls thanks I'll check them out. It's a skill issue from my end as I'm still iron in piano xD. But I hope I'll be able to play your Nami/Jhin areangement someday

not a huge fan of the piano used here and the melody seems kinda overcomplicated in comparison to the original version of the song.
@DAC_eq9 ай бұрын
Definitely agree. Also they spent way to much times on riffs/small patterns not even there but didn't get rid of that to full up the melody. There's a lot of weak points(too low playing) on importance bits or too slow.

Thanks for the feedback. My piano arrangement style is definitely not for everyone and does not adhere to the conventions that most other arrangers do to make it sound more pianistic, in favour of being able to include as many of the individual lines and countermelodies present in the original as possible (even if they are very soft); for example I tend to use the lh very percussively and avoid adding harmonies that are not in the original to fill it out. I also consider this particular arrangement one of my weaker efforts (for example i think GODS is way better). However this is the style i have established on the channel so i don't know if it's a good idea to change it now. Thanks for checking it out anyway. (Would also be interested to know what piano you would rather have heard)

I think its more to personal preference, cuz the original score isn't exactly a bang, it's supported by a lot of backings but the melody on its own is rather soft. Winged Souls generally likes including as many backing lines as they can (if you listen the original alongside his cover at the same time you ll get what I means) but personally its difficult to make the key sound louder as its a synthesia (a real piano would be able to counter the "too low playing" that was mentioned by a different commenter). Generally there are limits to how you can express emotions with a synthesia compared to the actual piano. To be honest, at least for me it's not overcomplicated, in fact it could be even more complicated. But of all the renditions, this would be one of my favourites due to how they managed to include backing instruments without sacrificing the main line. There are piano arrangements done by people such as Animenz that would prolly not suit your preference as Animenz also has a tendency to include individual lines WHILE trying to make it sound pianistic WHILE making it complicated. All in all, being able to play by ear and produce a piece is amazing on its own!

@winged_souls, I think I would have chosen a bigger piano to get a bit more natural reverb. Steinway-D comes to mind. There are pretty decent vi's for the particular one. After listening again, I think my main concern wasn't the "overcomplicated" melody and more the clipping at some parts due to some frequencys being to present (0:49, 2:00). The articulation could be a bit improved. Still, this is really impressive, playing a song by ear and getting this as a result. I listened to GODS; I really enjoyed the arrangement hope to hear more from you and keep going.

@@timr6284 actual piano would always be superior in my personal opinion. Steinway is one such piano ahh the sound is amazing 😭
