Another nice trick Pete! I am 175Lbs. 80 kilos and have a 5'11" or 152cm board. @99L as a starter board. I aquired a 10 ft SUP and can get up easy on that big rig. But on this squirly board I struggle. Your tips are helping. I do need smoother water... it's like a washing machine on the South San Diego bay. Thank you again Sir..

Aye flat water makes a big difference! Great to be able to deal with the choppy stuff though! I'm spoilt with flat water spots 😉👍

I’m 83K. Would you recommend buying a 115L or going for a 99L? I’m okay with a steeper learning curve but don’t want to buy a board I’ll outgrow in a few weeks.

@@CallSignMaverick11 the larger board will bring some extra comfort in light winds. If it's often sufficiently windy where you are and you have a good background in foil sports, you should do fine with the smaller option.
