🌊 Massive swell, wingfoiling adventure, and a helicopter rescue! An adrenaline-filled day on the ocean. 💙⚡
I found myself out in the big waves with a wing that was way too small-4m instead of the 6m I needed. The wind behind the waves was much weaker than on the shore, making it a real challenge. Thankfully, I made it back safely 😁, but one wingfoiler had to be rescued by helicopter.

Hey Cezary how are you? Ive seen that your 5 and 5.5 you are a the SLS and DLab respectively. Have you tried on those sides in the normal unit and would say its much better and its worth in particular the SLS material over the normal?

Hey, thanks for asking! All good 🙂I’ve got the regular, SLS, and DLab Unit, and I’d say upgrading to SLS already makes a big difference-going for DLab is even better. It might not be obvious on the very first ride, but after a few sessions, you’ll really feel the performance boost, which I think justifies the higher price. I’ve also been testing the Gong Droid Aramid X ’24 (5m)-it’s very stiff, quite similar to the DLab. Gong just released their ’25 models, which seem even better than the ’24. Honestly, I’m getting a bit confused with all the awesome gear coming out these days!

Without wetsuit?

Yeah, no wetsuit! As long as you're not constantly in the water, it's great. Especially on sunny days, it's surprisingly warm. Stronger winds (over 20 knots) might make it a bit chilly, but around 15 knots it's perfect. The best part is being dry as soon as you're out of the water-much warmer than even a good wetsuit. A few runs and you're bone dry. 🙂

Welche Mastlänge fährst Du? Machen 80 cm vs 85 cm einen großen Unterschied? Möchte mir einen Carbon Mast zulegen und stehe vor der Entscheidung welche Länge ich nehmen soll.

Ich fahre diverse Spots, von flach, über chop bis in die Welle und 80 cm sind für mir perfect. Ich hatte schon 72, 78, 80, 85, 91 und 92 cm masten und 80 scheint mir am besten zu passen. Für meinen Gewicht 90+ kg ist es dann sehr steif. Zwischen 80 und 85 cm spüre ich kein Unterschied in der Länge. Ich fahre auch kein Race, wo die Länge eine wichtigere Rolle spielen würde. Fahre aber auch gerne schneller mit kleineren foil, wie SK8 650 und Eagle X 600. Ich hoffe, das hilft die weiter. Gruss!

I noticed you use sk8 950 for most of your session. Do you feel its the ultimate foil for you? Optimal lift, speed, span?

I also enjoy flying smaller foils like the SK8 850, 650, or the Eagle X 600, but I don’t often get the chance to use them. When I’m traveling further or unsure of the conditions, I try to take the most versatile foil with me. That’s why you probably see me on the SK8 950 most of the time-it really is the most universal foil for me. If I could only have one foil out of my collection (and I have a few others), I would choose the 950. I’d pair it with the C200 stabilizer and additionally bring the C160 to have a minimal yet highly versatile setup.

What do you think about Skywalker Rajo v2 boards?

Hi, Skywalker Rajo v2 board is definitely a next-generation design. The new core construction results in a significantly lighter board - for example, the 80L 5'6 weighs only 5 kg - while maintaining the same level of stiffness and durability. The volume distribution has been redesigned to be more balanced across the entire board. This makes the board more predictable and responsive, offering a smoother and more even ride. One of the standout features for me is how easily the board starts. It's the first board where the rear strap fits me perfectly, which is a game-changer. I can now comfortably start with both my front and rear feet in the straps, making the takeoff much easier and allowing for more efficient pumping right from the start. These are just some of the features that stand out to me, but I’m sure there are others that I haven’t mentioned. Overall, it’s an impressive board that brings a noticeable upgrade in performance and usability. I hope this feedback helps! Cheers!

@buenacloud thank you , I have KT superK 80 l , it's difficult to start with my 94 kg//188cm , rounded nose makes the board unstable

@@sk-hd4ys Hi there! I weigh 92 kg and I'm 182 cm tall, and I’m going for the 70L Skywalker. If you’re 94 kg and 188 cm, I’d say the 80L might be the sweet spot. If you’re already comfortable with a rodeo start, you’ll find the Rajo V2 stable and forgiving during takeoff. Good luck, and I hope it works out great for you! 🙂
