Joe Flowers, a designer for Condor Tool and Knife, collaborated with custom makers on a multi-use fixed blade knife in 2009. Ideally suited for bushcrafters, hunters, adventurers, and all sorts of woodsmen, the Condor Terrasaur Knife was the result. Now, Condor will be making the first production version of the knife, in a compact value based package. The goal of the Condor Terrasaur is to make an affordable super bushcraft knife that can be used by anyone, from the beginner all the way to the expert woodsman. With an indestructible polymer handle and ambidextrous sheath, backed by Condor’s lifetime warranty, the Terrasaur has arrived.

Have a friend that got one. I liked it, but the grinds were off, and the lanyard hole looked like it was drilled by a 5 year old. But, for the money, it looked like a winner to me. Definitely a great knife for the dough. Gonna try to find one in the tan. All the best. 🗡.

@@gladeshunter8796 -' I think they need stricter quality control, instead of a fast-paced production with too many flaws. I do like Condor, but I have and had a few, theres always problems with the grinds. My wife got me the moonshiner for Christmas 2 year ago, saw right off the blade is bent, or warped from a bad heat treat, decided to keep it because she got it for me. So I gave it a file test, yes, hard and soft down the edge. Just sits in the drawer in its box, oiled, and keeps my socks company. Thanks for replying, glad to hear that theres some other folks that know's what to look for in a blade.👍.

Mills Cutlery Yes mora's quality control is great. But i still like this knife, warts and all. I did take 10 minutes to really flatten the spine, then looked at the slightly offset grind and decided not to put in the work to even it. It cuts well and I don't think anybody could tell the grind is off a bit just by using it.

How does this compare to Mora Bushcraft Black? Edge geometry? Does the edge chips easily as a factory edge Mora? Any info,would be appreciated.Thanks in advance.

BCB is not 1095 although it is a high carbon, not stainless. 90 degree spine on both. Better handle on the BCB. The KZbin fanboys will point out that the BCB does not have a full tang, although it’s close. If you break a BCB doing bushcraft, you’re not doing bushcraft. Both about the same price. Similar sheaths. BTW, a much closer comparison is the Mora Garberg. Very similar knife to this, but over twice the price. What are you paying $100 for? Don’t ask me. And I’m a pretty big Mora fanboy.

I have both and i prefer the bcb. Grippier, more ergonomic handle. Cleaner, more even grind on blade and the back of the blade is a sharp 90 that stays that way through heavy use. Still like using the terrasaur though. It's a decent knife at a good price.

Hey John can you look up the RIPPER KNIFE by Condor , I don't know why there isn't more folks excited about this one . Its got one heck of a great blade shape and kydex sheath with thick leather belt loop micarta scales and 1095 steel . I would think knife reviewers would be really jazzed about that one but I've only seen one video and its not even in English 😉
