@dwightehowell81795 жыл бұрын
This knife appears to be about as good as they get other than it can rust. 1095 does make an excellent blade. The blade design is more or less generic because it works. A lot of knives are like that but the handle is going to stay put unless you do something seriously stupid. The sheath design is excellent. On the whole I highly approve of this knife. You can spend a lot more money and gain nothing. I know that because I have.

@wallytaggart26125 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't call it a garberg copy either as the same blade is used for another condor knife with maple handles (can't recall the name)...having said that, it would be in the same market niche as the garberg.. oh and it fits in the mult mount system-thinner sheath but overall height makes it work...not as robust as a garberg but at a price that is more than $30 less it can do the job! Slight advantage to the garberg but think of it as a full tang bushcraft black at a little less cost.
@MSScout864 жыл бұрын
As you stated Joe brought the Terrasaur to the market many years ago so this design as been out there for awhile. Condor made the smart move to bring it to market at a better price to compete with the Mora Garberg.

It's a good starter knife or something to keep in the vehicle. Love the design, like the handle. Under the microscope there's a lot of finer details they overlook when compared to a Mora Garberg, but it's also half the price. I don't like the sheath though. It's great that it's ambidextrous It's a really cheap soft plastic that won't keep retention long term as far as I've observed.

Cool tests! I would definitely say the handle and sheath design is similar to the Kansbol, which is no big deal some things are similar, but not much of it is so similar to the Garberg besides the grind and the coating use. Both of which predate all three knives. Almost everywhere we go, or have gone, a million people have been before and scribbled cuss words all over it.🤣 Is that directly out of the box or modified? Was sick and in the ER for a while. Good one again, and all the best until the next one!
