Wings and Things Model Show | 2024

Never been to Wings and Things model show before, but even though it is slightly smaller than Stoke, it was really a good show.
Before we start the video would like to say thank you to the Sheffield South guys for for another corker table display. Also congrats to Paul from the Sheffield South for his tank winning the best military model any scale.
Also had a lovely chat to Nick while we were waiting for our food. Hope you had a great day and had a safe journey home.
Also please watch the footage from the 144 sig, had a lovely chat with Terry, his modelling techniques and what medium he uses is simply astonishing, real modelling.

Bit disappointed to not see Norfolk Scale Model Group included. We did get 5 of the prizes on offer.

The Norfolk Group wasn’t really up to scratch that show. Not surprised it wasn’t added to this video. Overall a really great video. Well done Rob.

@@Broadsword505thanks for feedback. I would like to clafiry my original comments. I , rightly or wrongly, read that the video would contain but not exclusively feature the class winners as it’s always good to see them from whoever they were made by. As we received 5 prizes I was surprised to not see us included but- hey, no problem. I didn’t expect to get a blanket ‘ all your kits are rubbish’ type comment. Given that some had won at other competitions and there were 5 National class winners present there is obviously a subjective issue here. The modelling community is generally respectful and supportive and welcoming of constructive criticism. Given that the comment was addressed to the OP I don’t see why you had to comment this way. However, I will raise the subject at our club meeting. I expect discussions around the subjects of eyesight, mental health, and respect will take place. We would have already made assumptions with reference to your penis size.
