WiNGSPAN TT after the update i've gotten knife stuns that i feel i shouldn't have gotten if knifes worked as they did at the start, but to keep an open mind it might just be down to lag.

Man this is ok but I reeeeeaaally wish you would learn to stalk your targets a bit more instead of just using the pistol if they run.

I could stalk them, but here's the thing. If I use the Pistol, I get 100-200 points instantly. If I stalk them, I have a 10-20% chance of getting stunned, 30-40% chance of getting contested, 20-30% chance of getting vulched and 20-40% chance of getting killed myself. There is maybe only a 25% chance I end up actually killing my target for more than 200 points, and doing so takes much more than the zero seconds it takes to shoot them. Also, shooting them teaches them not to run like a coward. Only I'm allowed to do that.

WiNGSPAN TT I don't know where you get those statistics but you got to realize you are not factoring how many kills you are losing by pistoling and not going for melee. You killed at least 3 in the vid, all which could have been for bigger points.

***** I made up the statistics but perhaps you could provide your best guess at them? I feel a lot of high level players always assume they will reach their target without being poached or killed, which is especially unlikely in Wanted. In DM or ASN sure, but in Wanted time and positioning are too valuable to give up IMO. At 5:45 I messed up, so sure. At 8:11 I got immediate points, then got a decent kill, then immediately died. If I stalked this person, what are the odds that I would have gotten more points over the same 18 second window? 10:22 was mainly for video theatrics, but allowed me to move to a corner position that forced the lobby to chase me and gave me two stun attempts.

+WINGSPAN TT This may be old, but I really wanted to comment on it since it is a great argument that you made for using the pistol, even with only estimated statistics on probability. For the longest time, I always refrained from using the handgun/pistol in multiplayer, not because I thought it was nooby for its easy "OP" unstealthy kill, but rather because I thought it was nooby for giving little points for players too lazy and impatient to try for a higher quality kill. I always assumed that ultimately, it was inefficient and the only players using it were those too lazy to realize its inefficiency. But the more I played the more I came to the same analysis and conclusion as you did. I was in denial for a long time because I wanted to be a "stealthy" assassin, but eventually I had to ask myself whether a good assassin always abides by stealth and discretion, or whether a good assassin favors stealth but is willing to adapt to other methods when they prove to be more practical for the situation. The gun is there for a reason :-\ As much as I hate to admit it, it seems to me that, for the reasons you described, the gun is the most efficient ranged weapon in Wanted.

well i was in a lobby and every one else was at least above 1 prestige and they were like look at this noob i was only level 12 and then i owned them with skills and advantages that i learned and they raged so hard that 3 of them invited me to a private match and we were on wanted and i owned them again i was awesome
