I think 84.25 is pretty much the average number of darts it would take me to close a leg of 501 with those. How you can average that without even knowing where to grip the dart is insane.

found this problem with first gen monster points the original points where knurled which was stupid because they worked loose. You can use self adhesive copper shim. It can be bought on ebay as self adhesive copper foil for shielding guitar pickups and such. You rap just enough around the point leaving just a little sticking over the end of the point (Important)and press it in. It just comes out if you pull the point again. It's a clean nondestructive fix.Worked for me.

Looked at a set of these darts, but decided to buy a set of designa mustang v2. absolutley love the shape and grip of them

Only downside to winmau darts is that they use a slightly thicker point, this is great for when you use them on other dart brands cause they will always fit snug but means that only certain point will fit in winmau barrels.

Voks makes a standard Tornado point with a longer insert section. That point looks like the “Alternative” Tornado point, which has a shorter insert section.

Ran into this problem as well with most of the dart sets I own. The only barrels voks fit in are the set of mckicks i have. Had to get the Target storms. They fit perfect but you're handcuffed with the point lengths. Did you try all 3 barrels? I switched out two barrels of harrow assassins. 2 fit perfect and the 3rd was loose. Not sure what that was about.

I sometimes wrap a layer of sticky tape around the point if they barely fit. These seem to have too much of a gap though.

Thinking of getting my younger sister a set of those Simon Whitlock darts with a while now. Also I like your scoring ability, and you weren't even throwing at the same target in case you mark the darts, I'm impressed for your first attempt with the darts.🎯👍

You got a winmau board. What did you think about the mission samurai board? I have problems with wearing out bullseye

Update: I have the same problem, 1 barrel fits, the other was really tight and i almost didnt get the point in, the 3rd is really loose and falls out just of gravity.. ill probably try your superglue fix haha

Should fit a trident cone easy enough. but that "Melted Rainbow Coating" is very 'Marmite' to me - the supplied flights match well though.

I throw with whitlock darts and I've had the same problem repointing them, all so the dna coating wears off quick

I ll tell u a secret. Be foxy und beat with a hammer at the part of point wthat belongs to be pressed into barrel. hammering on it until it is minimal OVAL(not round anymore) and ready to press. Then is no problem to press inside. I made same ...and it works ;)
