To anyone wondering what happened to tokio after bgt After bgt and the royal variety, he took every penny of his 250k and set up a music school to help children from bad backgrounds like he had when he grew up. This was inspired when he was 11, there was a gang attack that murdered his head teacher, all the students (including tokio) were led in to safety… by none other than mr morgan. Tokio has done various covers of songs, including beyoncé’s song blue. He’s had a successful career after bgt

Tokio is far m0re than that which many see him to be. Great musicians like Kitaro, Yanni and many others are so very rare. He is literally music of the 21st Century in a human body. Not just saying that to get on any bloody bandwagon.... Pray, listen to his compositions - the eloquent delivery, the multifaceted stories within stories, the innocuous blend of contemporary and classical fused within futuristic imaginary and dreamscape. If he goes global, he could very well go better than Hans Zimmer and Alan Silvestri. He has that level of ability.

Tokio's arrangement and performance was fantastic, we can all agree with that. But more doesn't mean that it's better. Zimmer's score captured the 'feels' of the film. Imagine substituting Tokio's arrangement in the film... It's not quite right. Each arrangement has a different purpose so your opinion is pretty shallow.

My snoby jazzman say to me : "OK this is just simple playing, mashups, not even composed ah not impressive" Meanwhile, ninjas keep cutting onions around me. And at the end I'm just so emotional, I'm speechless and crying non-stop. As Miles Davis said : "It's not the notes you play, but *how* you play them". That is WHY this guy deserved to win.

ME! I have watched this more times than I can even guess. When I`m on my laptop doing stuff I always p[lay this with headphones on at full blast. I watch it in my living room on tv and just about blow my speakers up. I have sent the link to everyone I know. This is music and talent at it`s finest. I love piano anyway, so for me I can`t imagine ever getting tired of it. Tokio is talented beyond belief! The beginning of the 3rd performance is THE most beautiful piece of any kind of music I`ve ever heard.

I had never seen all of Tokio's performances! Then seeing them all in a row like this! In my eyes Tokio's talent was out of this world or better yet "Out of this Universe!" PERIOD! He's so utterly terrific and breathtaking when you watch him do his incredible piano playing with every single note he plays has if his entire life depends on each & every note! His humbleness & kindness alone? Made me fall in-love with him for all he stood for! You can feel it in his emotions has he played! I've always noticed the contestants who come on a show like this who had a harder life growing up? Seem to turn out to be the type of people who are the most humble of people & also they're more soulful & loving with caring fr others more so! Opposed to those who grow up with everything already going for them! Tokio is the new artist of today and to put these beautiful pieces of music together is a Gift he was born with no question! By using all the technology of today placing it together to create something so magnificently extraordinary! He's going to be HUGE In Lights one day soon! On the flip side of all of this? With Izzy, I'm struggling has to how she made it over "Sarah Ikumu?" Sarah, is an artist as well through her style of singing. Which I also thought she was one of the best singers I've witnessed to hear on this show! Im extroninarilly happy for "Tokio Myers" to win this show 2017 no doubt! So well deserving of everything coming his way and winning the show. I didn't care for "Amanda Holdens way of saying to Tokio?" "Coming from NOTHING!" No one comes from Nothing! Obviously Tokio mentioned it was a rough neighborhood east side growing up and he went into his music. Not like he was a hobo and living in dumpsters! I'm glad Simon Cleared that up since Amanda didn't choose her words correctly & that can be hurtful for someone to hear & being judged in that light. TY Simon for clearing that up. Not everyone is born with a gold or silver spoon in their mouths! Always think before you talk!

To whom disliked this guy of playing only piano, is it talent? Do not talk more to this topic , the more you criticize, the sillier your view of music.Reading all your comments, I am laughing myself at those innocent opinions.I think your point of musical views are very poor. Do you know?, studying and playing music is not just knowing notes, singing a song, memorizing lyric, following music rules or patterns. The most important success in playing music or piano is to play it unique, get deep touchy in mind, understand the soul of song's notes, creating a new key of it to be different and mix the all musical potentions or talents to making your song authentic ever and never sound copied! but original.
