Yea I like him as well. I used him to unlock a bunch of stuff. He's not amazing but he looks cool and pretty quick. It would be cool of they gave him a new modifier for leveling.

The Clover. That may be it. Sword upgrade is cool and the movement means more consumables. The crits from slash arcana with axes and knives and their respective passives work so well together (Area and Speed). Fun character from my experience. Edit: Of course Dex says Sword upgrade is a nerf, so my experience may be purely by luck and circumstance.

I started playing after Arcana were added, and I've always loved Krochi. His high base speed and his revives made it much easier to learn the game once I unlocked him - he was a massive stepping stone to getting better at the game for me.

I actually enjoy playing Krochi, mostly due to the bonus movement speed on his character. Also, thanks for showcasing my favorite build in the game, bouncing melee weapons with crits. 🙂 It isn't most powerful build there is, but it is so much fun to watch.

The first/only time I managed to break the game was with a random with krochis weapon and active effect (if random takes both from the same character). Broke it that much after 2 hours neither me nor the 20+ red deaths that had spawned could damage each other.

Thousand Edge: 30% crit chance, 3x dmg base, Death Spiral: 30% crit chance, 2x dmg base, Heaven Sword: 10% crit chance, 2.5x dmg base, Slash doubles the damage modifier but not the crit chance. Pretty sure La Borra's size was maxed out, at that point you want more Duration instead as it has a projectile cap of 30. Speed can be detrimental as it makes the puddle catch up with you more quickly while running instead of it staying at the edge of the screen and spawnkilling enemies. The additional revives are worth 20 "useful" stat points each for a total of 40. Niche synergies aside that's less than half of Leda's damage bonus alone, and Pugnala would get 5x as much near the end of the run. Also worth noting that between the powerup and the revives other characters get you're sitting at 9 armour without picking the passive, and you'll also easily match the 5 base damage of regular enemies. The +2 armour Krochi gets is only really useful against the smaller witches which deal 14 damage, plus a bunch of stuff on other stages e.g. werewolves, winged skeletons and a couple in Dairy Plant. Granted a lot of the "regular" characters aren't really better either, Awake+La Borra just flattens stuff no matter what your starting bonuses are. Plus as Dex already alluded to there aren't _that_ many weapons which can fully use the stats you get whereas more raw damage benefits almost everything (the main exception being overkill from crits and Hellfire). For maximum synergy consider Bible, Runetracer, Vandalier, Bone, Cherry Bomb, Celestial Dusting and Gatti although Runetracer/NO FUTURE, Bone and Vicious Hunger are the only ones which undeniably benefit from every stat point (Bible becomes less protective with more Area, Vandalier gets weird at high Speed, Cherry Bomb takes longer to explode at high Duration, Celestial Dusting is meh with high Speed, base Gatti Amari's catfights overshadow the speed of the cats, La Borra's size is capped _after_ all stat bonuses *including* arcanas).

As someone who loves to do +50% curse, no power-ups (but still with rellors, skips and banishes) runs, I will say that Kronii is high S tier. Extra stats (awake arcana) and health from revives plus huge move speed bonus are insane when you have to play purely defensively.

Back when I was first playing the game, I liked revival for farming gold at the end, since you're finishing gold bonus keeps increasing every time you die to the reaper.

I have had a game where I got Tiragisu, trying for the guns... and then died a bunch. Turns out that, after you burn out all your Tiragisu charges, it gets added back into the item pool. You can technically farm Tiragisu again for extra Awake power, though it's a bit risky and kinda tedious because it's rare.

You can only get two levels of it. If you die while at 1/2 you can still get one more but it'll never get to 2/2 again.

Pugnala with 1800 eggs was a monster but with 3800 nothing can stop you. Dex make a wideo with pugnala after you get 4000 eggs on her and show us the madnes it is!

Ok it seems like youtube doesnt like my imgur link and autodeleted my reply. as i statet before, my Pugnala is at 7208 Eggs atm and i DONT recommend to anyone to go above the 4k mark, i cant see anything and somehow my weapons shoot so fast, its not red and blue but purple. Im in the 400-450% range of all stats, the Gold is incrediböe but i somehow just run around blind and hope i pick up the items.

Bone and Cherry seem the best weapons for benefiting from the stats. Hellfirey also could, but it's not really a 'slashing' weapon to benefit off Slash.

Would Phieraggi not be exceptionally good with this build? +1 Amount and Base damage per revival, it doesn't benefit from duration, but might, area, speed, and its own built in bonus still work.

Have you tried a -110% projectile speed run (so no projectile speed upgrades)? Only matters on certain weapons but it's still a neat run to do

I hope on 1.0 Krochi will be unlocked faster as maybe he is not that good for skilled players but for the new players that have no idea what is going on that one free additional revival helps so much. Also I only use him for pickup stuff like you know, milky way map or magic banger etc. as he has so much speed.

It really annoys me how every keeps shittin on cross upgrade. It's not even objectively worse, +Amount reduces it's cooldown and the multi-crosses don't even do "extra" knockback do to how many there are. There is a SMALL argument that cross is more screen coverage then Heaven sword but with enough +Area even that's moot. It's even more useful now with the amount of Curse % we can get up to so your not really "overkilling" like you used to.

I think Genaro is worse than Lay's Fritos. Krochi's got more base speed, and can get 2 extra revivals, but Genaro gets 1 extra projectile and 20 extra hp.

Wouldn't gatti amari have been great with all the buffs? Faster projectiles means more fights, they get stronger, last longer and become bigger. And they don't need to be evolved since they're already super strong

Krochi was one of the first characters I decided I would get eggs on because I like the cross and also thought he looks cool, but then while getting other unlocks I got my first reaper kill on Lama and so had a bunch of eggs on her and switched to her haha.

I make with Christine 560% curse Bone Zone, 2,5kkk gold one run. She got highest CD, when it come till 90% or higher, miracles happen :D already 7200 eggs

Dex modded (hacked) the game files to give himself +200% curse. He does that regularly to do crazy challenges that you can't normally do in the game, such as his infinite weapon builds.

krochi is a great character for early to mid game players who haven't unlocked a lot. i used to use him nearly every time playing for a good while because the revives are so big before you can afford to buy one and not cost yourself other things like spinach/duplicator in the shop. its really cool to see him maxxed out to his full potential!
