Thanks Pete, for the first time in a year I beat you by 1%. Time to open a bottle of wine. Thanks for the great bridge tuition during lockdown.

1/2 Push 3. I found the winning opening bid of 2H which I would only make against the bots 4/8 I actually beat you by a trick 6. I propelled them into game 5/7 You schooled me. I'm going to take a close look at those. Board-a-match we would have tied but in MPs against the field you crushed me.

4. My response was an invitational 3D. Maybe that helped my partner defend 4SX? I was able to maroon declarer in his hand. 5. I was too scared to finesse into the danger hand but you just sluffed losers on his winners. 7. Again you just let the opps take their winners then you claimed. I was determined to avoid club losers which was a bad plan. 8. I did not attack trumps immediately like you did.

Interesting set of boards wasn't it.

@@jyutzler 1. Push 2. Made 1NT, I was able to get back to the board to get the 10D 3. Doubled 3C, which they made. Not sure what I was thinking there. This scored poorly. 4. 4H-4, my bidding went awry with the bot. 5. 2H-1, obviously 1NT was better 6. Got the bots up to 4H, partner doubled, and we set them. 7. Made 2D, I now see how to avoid ending up here. 8. 5C-3, got a different lead which I think accounts for the difference.
